CHAPTER 82

***Bethany’s POV***

My chest heaved high and love when I arrived in front of the orphanage. I was about to ring the doorbell when a vehicle was about to leave. I waited until someone opened it, and when I recognized Sister Theresa on the passenger seat, I immediately waved my hand at her. She smiled upon recognizing me and ordered the driver to stop. She lowered the window and said hi to me. I did the same, and then she came out.

“Good morning, Sister,” I greeted her.

“Bethany! It’s nice to see you again,” she exclaimed. “I can see that you are tired but we can talk later. Come with me.”

“Mmmm, what about my daughter? I want to see her,” I informed the missionary.

“Your daughter is in good hands. Dale treated us for a short vacation at a private resort, and everyone was already there since yesterday. I just had to pick up some important papers for Dale,” she informed me.
