Amelia stood on the porch of James’ home, her hands tucked in the pocket of her jacket and her eyes staring at the hardwood door, with her heart beating wildly. She knew the moment she knocked on that door would be the end of whatever she’s had with James. She was on the verge of tossing away all that they’ve shared together, both the good and bad memories and all of the times the man had cared for her, putting his feelings last and showering her with all of the love she craved. But still, it wasn’t enough.
