Stacy watched both of them with stunned expressions. Bernard Anworth stood there calmly as Veronica got bandaged by the doctor. While Veronica couldn't even lift her eyes up with shame. She took the trolley from him and got on to the elevator instantly. Pressing the floor number 50, she waited for the elevator to reach the respective floor so she can deliver the order as soon as possible and come back because her instincts tell her otherwise. Now she knew why her manager wanted to give her bonus for just delivering that damn food up to the penthouse because it belonged to Bernard Anworth. She completed her shift and packed her bag to go home. She was really mad at her manager for trapping her into situations like this. As usual it was a hectic day, on her way to the hotel after completing her classes. It had been a week and she didn't see Bernard.
