Stephanie's POV:

After arranging the weapons carefully, he pressed a button on the wall that I hadn’t noticed before. The sound of an iron door creaking open echoed through the room. Without hesitation, he stepped inside, and I followed.

This room was entirely different from the previous one. While the first room had a dark, foreboding atmosphere, this one had a pristine white theme with black target boards positioned at the far end. A long table stood across the room, and atop it lay an array of guns, each varying in size and type. The sight was both intimidating and fascinating. He walked over to the table, his movements purposeful, and I followed closely behind.

Stopping in front of the table, he picked up one of the guns. It wasn’t the largest, but something about how he handled it made it seem like it was the most important thing in the world. He pulled out a soft rag and began to clean the weapon with meticulous care, his every motion precise, as though the gun were a priceless

Stephanie's POV:I walked beside Alex, the silence between us thick and suffocating. The awkwardness was almost unbearable, especially after what had happened, after the incident where I had stupidly snooped into his room. The memory of his icy glare still lingered in my mind, making it hard to even meet his gaze now. He was so cold, so distant, and I couldn’t begin to guess what was going on in his head. The path we took led us away from the pack buildings, deeper into the woods that bordered the far end of the compound. With each step, my curiosity grew, but I didn’t dare ask where he was taking me. Not with the way he carried himself, radiating a coldness that felt like a barrier I couldn’t cross. The air grew cooler as the forest thickened, the canopy above filtering out most of the sunlight. After what felt like an eternity of walking, Alex finally stopped in front of a massive tree. I watched as he crouched down. My gaze followed his hands to the ground, where I noticed an ir

Tyler's POV:I sat in my office, my fingers drumming restlessly on the armrest of my chair. The heavy silence of the room was broken only by the rhythmic ticking of the clock on the wall. I was waiting for Caden to show up. Even though I had followed Stephanie's demands, I still needed to have this conversation with him. I had to believe I still held some semblance of authority as Alpha. If I didn’t, Zuko,my wolf, would never let me rest. The truth was, I hadn't been able to rest properly for days. Ever since Stephanie, of all people, decided to blackmail me, sleep had become a distant luxury. But yesterday… Yesterday made it worse. My mind replayed the events over and over. I wanted to punish Caden, to make him feel the weight of his disobedience. I wanted him to understand the consequences of his defiance. But Stephanie had ensured that would never happen. She had tied my hands, leaving me powerless. What kind of Alpha was I if my authority could be so easily undermined? If Caden

Alex’s POV:I ran through the woods in my wolf form, my paws pounding against the forest floor. The cool night air brushed against my fur, and Zeke, my wolf, tilted his head, gazing up at the sky. The moon had already dipped below the horizon, its light replaced by the faint hues of dawn creeping in as the sun began its slow ascent. Reluctantly, I shifted back to my human form, feeling the weight of the world return to my shoulders as the fur receded and my bare feet touched the damp earth. The mansion was quiet when I returned. The stillness was almost oppressive, amplifying the storm inside my head. I climbed the stairs to my room, shutting the door behind me as though it could block out the chaos. After grabbing some clothes, I headed into the bathroom for a shower, hoping the water would wash away the tension coiled in my body.As the warm water cascaded over me, my thoughts began to spiral, memories flashing like a broken reel. Everything that had happened so far played on repea

Aiden's POV:I sat down heavily on Stephanie's bed, the faint scent of her perfume lingering in the air. My eyes flickered between my watch and the door, the seconds ticking by with an infuriating slowness. Where was she? How long was she going to take before she came back to her room? I could feel the weight of my own impatience pressing down on me, but I couldn't leave. Not yet. Not until I said what I came here to say. Today, it had to be today. The door creaked open suddenly, snapping me out of my restless thoughts. Stephanie stepped in, her movements hurried and almost frantic, as though someone had been chasing her. She didn’t even notice me sitting there. Her back was turned, and her shoulders rose and fell with each labored breath. She shut the door behind her with a shaky hand, crouching low as if to steady herself. One hand clung to the door handle, while the other pressed against her chest. I could hear the wild rhythm of her breathing, echoing in the otherwise silent ro

Stephanie’s POV:I’ve had it with Tyler. His claws dug into his palms, and I could see thin rivulets of blood dripping onto the polished wooden floor. He was visibly angry, his body trembling with restrained fury. But I didn’t care. He had no right to interfere in my life like this. No right at all. “What do you want?” he asked impatiently, his deep voice cutting through the tense silence. His eyes, glowing an unnatural red, bore into mine, a storm of emotions swirling within them. “I don’t want Caden fighting his brothers because of me,” I said bluntly, holding his gaze. “So?” His tone was sharp, almost dismissive, as though my words were nothing more than a minor inconvenience to him. “I want you to revoke your decision and let us be,” I demanded, my voice steady despite the rapid thudding of my heart. “Let you... be?” He squinted, his eyes narrowing suspiciously. “Yes,” I replied firmly. “I want us to be invincible to you. It would be better if you learned to mind you
