I stood jaws dropped at the door staring at him, my grip on my hand bag tightening with each second. He seemed equally surprised to see me, we both just stood there staring wordlessly at each other, as much as I tried I really could not tell what was going on through his mind.

Yes, I had plans of probably speaking to him but not here and absolutely not now.

The door slowly creaked open wider, and an older woman stepped out beside him, I immediately broke eye contact with him and turned to look at elderly woman at the entrance. Immediately our eyes met she flinched and her jaws dropped.

“Dami,” she whispered. My eyes went wide open, taken aback by the name she had just called me, no one should know that name.

“You..you… you know …” I stuttered with quivering lips but she cut me off sharply before I even had the chance to complete my statement.

“Manuel, who is she?!” She asked sharply turning to the guy.

“M..mom .. she …”
