CHAPTER 22

Alpha Zeev's POV

I held Fenrir's hands as the happy smiles plastered on her face mesmerised me.

I'd never seen her smile as dazzlingly as that before, the soft sunshine outside made her face glow.

" Let me take you somewhere" I said, tightening my hand around hers, as I halted a cab.

" To the Zeev's castle please" I said, moving into the cab with Fenrir.

" Where's that," she asked as we got in the car, "it's a surprise, you'll know when you get there," I said with a small smile on my face.

The window was lowered down, giving a more excellent view of the outside, as she kept her eyes outside.

The sudden twitch in my hands that she grabbed surprised me.

" What's the matter Fenrir? what happened?" I asked agitatedly.

Her face was thrown in confusion as she stared outside, trying to find what I couldn't decipher.

" I heard a heartbeat Zeev, a familiar and a powerful one, it sounded like one that I've heard before," she said, focusing hard on remembering where she had heard it.
