MasukCLEO
“What’s your name, my mate?”
Once again, my heart thumped hard against my chest. The king’s voice held authority in it, but at the same time, he was one of the few people who talked gently to me other than my mother.
My breathing hitched, but I pushed myself to respond. “My name is Cleo Moonvale, Alpha...” I trailed off, realizing I didn’t even know his name.
“Solan Hazebrand. Remember your mate’s name.” He muttered, voice lower than usual.
I swallowed the sudden lump in my throat, finding myself frantically nodding. “Yes, Alpha.”
He slowly reached closer to me and held my hand. His touch alone made the ache I could not pinpoint throb even more. Alpha Solan took his time, as if testing the waters to see what my reaction would be.
When I didn’t wince with his touch, he started trailing up my arm. His touch felt unbearable and addicting all at once. Is this how every omega feels, or is it just because we were mated? I don’t know anymore.
My hands tremble in both anticipation and fear. I wanted to feel more, but afraid of what I’ll become if I let it consume me.
“Breathe, Cleo.” Alpha Solan murmured in my ear. It was an order, but sounded like a sweet request with his tone.
He backed away a bit to see my reaction. Solan’s eyes were gleaming, looking at me like he was staring straight into my soul. I suddenly had the urge to touch his face and look at his eyes a little bit longer, but I restrained myself and did as he told me.
I took a shaky inhale, but it barely helped.
The truth is, I don’t mind being “broken.” I’ve had to endure painful words from people, but aside from that, I am truly glad that I don’t go in heat. I don’t like being treated like a thing, as if I were nothing but an object of desire. Strangely, I don’t feel it from Alpha Solan.
There was the desire in his eyes, which I could also feel through our bond, but he was also trying to restrain himself. He was focusing on me instead of himself.
“Try again.”
I took another deep breath, but it quickly backfired. His scent overwhelmed my senses, making my body arch closer to him without realizing it.
“Alpha,” I cling to him with desperation, “I can’t take it anymore.”
He let out a low growl as his hand slowly reached for my chest, removing the blanket that had parted us. His touch was slow and deliberate. It’s almost like he was teasing me, but also gave me the chance to savor the moment, to feel him without overwhelming me completely, but it doesn’t feel enough.
I let out a moan before I could stop myself. I grabbed his hand this time, wanting it elsewhere, but I couldn’t think straight at all. My body clearly craved something, but I didn’t know what.
All I knew was that Solan was my mate, and I was safe with him.
“Please,” I pleaded again, not even sure what I was begging for.
I was startled when he suddenly pulled me closer. My mind blanked out, watching him trace his gaze on my lips.
“You have no idea what you’re doing to me, aren’t you?” He asked before claiming my lips.
An explosion of overwhelming feeling hits my senses while I hear my wolf howling in pure delight. I melted against him, instinctively seeking more.
“Solan,” I called his name when we slightly parted.
My eyes were barely open, but I could see his eyes gleamed when I called his name. My hands found their way to his shoulders, holding on as if he’d disappear right before me if I let go.
Alpha Solan slowly lay me back to bed, hands sliding down my sides and tracing the curves of my waist before lifting my top entirely.
I should have felt embarrassed, being this exposed before him, but the heat I felt only worsened, and so was the desire I felt for him. Solan leaned closer once again, lips trailing down my jaw and towards my neck.
I found myself tilting my head to give him more access. His lips hovered over the sensitive spot where a mate’s mark would go. My entire body tensed in anticipation.
Is he going to mark me?
It’s too soon. I know he shouldn’t be, but my instincts badly want him to. I want to be his entirely, no matter what the consequence might be.
He suddenly pulled away, making me look at him with both confusion and disappointment.
Solan exhaled sharply, growling in frustration. “I already told you. You shouldn’t tempt me like this.” He muttered, now grinning slyly, though his eyes were still gleaming in desire.
“I apologize,” I mumbled, snapping back to my senses enough to remember who I was talking to.
Of course, why would the king mark an omega as his mate? I should already be grateful he was personally helping me get through this cursed heat.
Alpha Solan didn’t respond. Instead, he continued where he left off, leaving kisses along my shoulders and collarbone... until his mouth found my breasts.
His tongue flicked over my already hardened peaks, sending waves of pleasure I’d never felt before. Solan took his time, alternating between licking and sucking while his hand kneaded the other. All I could do was close my eyes while he filled my body with pure pleasure. I felt him holding my hands, guiding them above me, giving him full access to my body, and I didn’t bother resisting.
His kisses traveled southward, reaching my navel, and he continued his way down. He lifted my legs, pulled down my underwear, and easily positioned himself between my thighs after parting them wider.
I tried to close them out of embarrassment, but he held me firmly in place.
“Don’t resist. I’ll take care of you,” he ordered, voice already melding with his wolf.
I swallowed hard as I forced myself to relax, but the first touch of his hand against me made me loudly gasp.
“You’re so ready for me, Cleo.” He muttered, making my face flush in embarrassment.
Before I could respond, I felt him enter a finger. He thrust slowly, but it was enough to make me writhe and gasp for my life.
I covered my mouth in a desperate attempt to stop myself from letting out more embarrassing sounds. I didn’t imagine I would be this sensitive in my heat. Everything felt so heightened that even a mere touch felt so different from what it should be.
I hadn’t even recovered when I felt him lean closer, feeling him breathing in such a sensitive spot.
“A-ah!” I muffled my moan, feeling my sanity slipping away from me.
My mind blanked out more times than I could count, making me wonder if this would really help me or just kill me while being drowned in pleasure and desire for more.
He was now alternating between strokes of his finger and tongue, exploring me with skill. Knowing I wouldn’t be able to resist letting out my voice, I buried my face in the first thing I managed to grab, which was a pillow resting in a corner. Not even a few seconds after, I saw Alpha Solan’s face, eyeing me intently after removing the pillow from my face. “Don’t hide like that. Just relax.”
He didn’t bother waiting for my reaction and resumed what he was doing. His movement gained speed, adding another finger and hitting a spot that makes me arch and writhe.
“Let out your voice, Cleo. I want to hear you. I want every inch of you.”
My eyes widened. His order was enough to turn me into a moaning mess. I don’t know how many times I’ve called him by his name alone. Normally, I would have had my head torn off calling him without honorifics, but he didn’t seem to mind at all.
Solan’s hands gripped my thighs as he buried his face deeper. “You taste divine, my mate.”
My face flushed than it already was with his remark, while my hands were already trembling while clinging onto the sheets for my dear life. His tongue moved with skill, sucking me gently before thrusting a finger or two, driving me into complete euphoria while keeping me guessing on what he would do next.
It didn’t take long before my body tensed up as if preparing me for something. Alpha Solan reached for me, claiming my lips once again as he arched his fingers inside of me.
I loudly gasped, writhing as my mind blanked out for what felt like the longest seconds of my life. I was catching my breath after, but just before I thought it was over, I felt him going down again.
“Wait! I’m still-” I couldn’t continue my protest when I felt his tongue teasing me again, drawing every last bit of pleasure until I was trembling under his touch.
It took me a moment to recover, but I realized I felt much better than earlier. Heats don’t usually wear off this easily, but the worst was already over thanks to Solan.
He caressed my hair, still looking at me with desire in his eyes. But now that my mind had cleared, I couldn’t even look him straight in the eye anymore. Not after all we did.
“Th-thank you for helping me, my king,” I uttered, slightly panicking as I recalled the things I did and said.
I must have really lost my mind!
“Rest. You’ve been through a lot today. We’ll talk tomorrow.” Alpha Solan said almost with a cold tone.
And with that, he left without looking back. I was almost dumbfounded at how he left, as if nothing had happened. For a moment, I felt bad that he didn’t even stay. I wanted him to. Even my wolf urged me to run after him, but I knew I didn’t have that right.
He helped me, and that should be enough for me.
CLEOMy heart skipped a beat after Theodore’s remark, and a thousand thoughts ran through my mind all at once.I led him inside, still a little skeptical. “Did the king send you? Does he have a message for me?” I asked as we sat on the couch facing each other. His eyes widened in alarm. “Oh, no. It’s not that, Cleo. I’m sorry for the misunderstanding. I guess I approached you like I was about to reveal some big secret, didn’t I?” He scratched the back of his head, looking both worried and sheepish. The tension in my chest eased in an instant, though disappointment immediately replaced it. For a moment, I honestly thought Alpha Solan had sent him. I didn’t even know why my mind went there so quickly. Maybe I was just too eager for any sign of him, especially since I hadn’t heard from him for days, or perhaps the constant talk about the pack’s politics had gotten into my head
CLEO“Not bad,” Isabel commented after entering the room I now use as an art studio. My shoulders jolted in surprise, and I almost messed up the painting I had been working on for days. I was too focused that I didn’t even notice her arrival.Isabel’s eyes widened. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to startle you. I thought you noticed me. I even knocked.”I put down the paintbrush and waved my hands slightly. “It’s alright. It’s on me. I was just too focused, I guess.”“You’re doing well, especially for a beginner,” she inched closer and tilted her head a bit.I chuckled awkwardly, “I’m cooped up in this place. I have lots of time to practice. Hey, at least you didn’t have to scold me for trying to do all the house chores before you.” I joked, trying to shift the topic as I feel a little shy.“I suppose that&
CLEO“Thank you,” I said after the doctor finished with my checkup. She simply smiled and promptly left after gathering her things. “If you feel anything, anything odd at all, do not hesitate to inform Isabel. I’ll be back next week to check back on you, okay?”I nodded, “Yes, I’ll make sure to say if I feel anything out of the ordinary.”The doctor seemed excited when she came in here. Alpha Solan definitely sent her as she already knew what had happened. I guess the pack is really looking forward to the king’s heir. From what I know, Luna Vera has been by Alpha Solan’s side for three years now, but they still failed to conceive.A part of me genuinely feels sorry for Vera. Despite her harsh attitude, she looked genuinely hurt when she saw me with Solan, and she seemed to have really done her best to be his wife and the queen alongside the Alpha King. It&rsqu
CLEOAlpha Solan had already left by morning, promising me that he’d visit me very soon. I wasn’t exactly clinging to it so much, only because I didn’t want to hope so much, only to get hurt in the end.Still, I put on a smile till he left the room. I wanted to see him off, but he said I shouldn’t walk around yet, so I could only say goodbye while in bed.My stream of thoughts was cut when I heard soft knocks from outside. I was already decent, so I quickly let her in, knowing it was Isabel. She entered slowly, checking on me first before coming in carrying a tray of food. My stomach reacted quickly to the smell of the hearty meal.“Thank you,” I said with gratitude and started eating. I’ve never felt this hungry before. I took a spoonful of rice and ate with gusto.“Good Goddess, slow down, Cleo. You might upset your stomach.” She warned me, making me halt and blush.I p
CLEO I woke up with my body aching and heat still pulsing to my core. Alpha Solan hummed to my side, probably sensing that I was already awake. He slowly pulled me close to his embrace, eyes still closed, but still taking care of me.My face flushed, realizing neither of us was wearing anything underneath the sheets. Along with the realization are the memories of the moments we have shared, passionate kisses and touches, words we could only say to one another at stolen times like this.“Do you feel better?” He asked, murmuring on my neck and inhaling my scent.I bit my lip when he started lightly nipping. Of course, it wasn’t enough to initiate the marking, but it was still enough to send shivers down the spine. “I-I feel better now, Alpha. How long did I sleep?” I asked, still a little groggy. I’m pretty sure I haven’t remembered everything, as there were times the heat had been so intense that I lost myself in it. “Three hours, more or less,” He muttered. My eyes widened. I didn’
CLEOTrue to the King’s words, art materials and other things filled the house the next day. Isabel was puzzled as she watched people bring more stuff into the empty room. Her gaze darted at me, holding on to her questions until the people were done placing all the things in the available room, which, apparently, is now the art room slash library, as they have also brought a lot of books and even set up a nice shelf for them. I entered the room after they had set up everything, both amazed and a little overwhelmed. Alpha Solan really took it seriously, and now I don’t know if I should be thankful or worried that I’ll disappoint him. “That’s a lot of stuff. Did you ask all of this of the king?” Isabel asked as she followed me inside. My face tinted red with her question. “Not exactly. He just learned that I was fond of art and said he’d send me something to start with. I didn’t expect he’d send so many things.”“The late Luna is a great artist. I think the king is glad you relate to
