Celeste
“I thought you suddenly grew some backbone. Alas, you’re still as cowardly as a mouse.”
Tabitha’s taunts filled my head, but my gaze was fixed on the writhing middle-aged woman lying on the floor. Her blood formed a pool beneath her, and I could tell she was in excruciating pain.
“What did they do to you, Nanny Zelda?” The words flowed out of my lips like someone who had the authority to put these people in their place. Alas…
“Tsk! Playing savior now, huh? Take one more step, and I’ll snap her neck.” Luna Fiona’s words were just above a whisper, but I didn’t dare defy her. I couldn’t tell what they did to Nanny Zelda, but I wasn’t ready to put her life on the line because I wished to find out.
All Nanny Zelda wanted was for me to run away from this pack and never look back. In her words, “It was better to be a rogue than remain a punching bag in the Moon Howler Pack.”
I regret it so much. I wish I had listened to her.
“I’ll go to the Iron Fang Pack, but Nanny Zelda must come with me,” I spoke as if I was negotiating with the Luna, but my eyes were pleading at the same time. I didn’t wish to leave the only family I had with these people. They might just kill her at the least provocation.
“Celeste, my dearest,” Luna Fiona walked toward me, leaving Nanny Zelda to fall face-flat onto the ground. Even though it wasn’t too loud, I still heard her low whimper. She was really hurt, yet I still couldn’t tell what they did to her.
With her left hand grabbing the back of my neck firmly, Luna Fiona’s right hand reached for my jaw. Her grip was so tight that any more force could cause it to snap.
“The only reason you’re not bleeding right now is because you need to be delivered intact. After all, you are the Alpha’s favorite daughter.”
I was finally freed from her grip, but she pushed me away as if she just held something filthy. I didn’t know when Tabitha joined us, but they just couldn’t mock me enough.
While the two laughed like maniacs, I could only hold the places she just held, massaging gently to relieve the pain.
I didn’t even look toward the mother and daughter pair. My gaze was only fixed on Nanny Zelda.
“Tsk! I heard you say you wanted to take this wench away.” Tabitha taunted, as if asking would make it sound less ridiculous. I knew it was a difficult request, but it wasn’t impossible, after all.
Tabitha stepped on Nanny Zelda’s right leg with so much force that she let out a heart-wrenching scream in agony. Unsurprisingly, a cracking sound soon followed, and my nanny passed out. She was the closest person I had to a family, yet these two devils didn’t give a damn about hurting her.
“This is just a small injury, and we both know she would heal under the care of the pack physicians. However, she would remain here.”
Tabitha spoke with so much authority that I could tell she wasn’t speaking for herself. She was always cocky, but this was different.
“W… What do you mean?” My voice came out shaky, as my whole body trembled from pain and frustration. I felt so useless seeing Nanny Zelda passed out in a pool of her blood, yet I could only look away.
Luna Fiona also looked toward Tabitha with a probing gaze. “Mom, Dad wanted me to remind the bitch that he would keep this wench safe as long as she behaved herself in the Iron Fang Pack. After all, Nanny Zelda was part of her mother’s dowry, and Father couldn’t just let her go like that.”
How ridiculous! They wanted to control me with Nanny Zelda. Wasn’t it bad enough that I was going to the Iron Fang Pack as payment for the warriors Alpha Holmes murdered? He also wanted me to be his spy in the pack?
Did he think I wouldn’t die fast enough, or did they take Alpha Horres for a fool? What sort of joke was this?
Celeste Holmes, could you be any more pathetic than this?
“I’d run along and pack up if I were you.” Luna Fiona didn’t even wait for me to say anything in response. It’s not like anything I said mattered, after all.
“I hope you’d keep your word and let Nanny Zelda get treated by the physicians.” I couldn’t even look at the mother and daughter. The words I spoke were for whichever of them cared to take care of my nanny.
If I lingered any longer, she might just face a fate more difficult than what she was experiencing now.
…
For two days and two nights, we were on the move, only stopping to eat and sleep. Along the journey, I cried my eyes out in silence until my head began to pound like crazy. I couldn’t even stomach any food.
The fear of Nanny Zelda’s safety wasn’t less than my fate as a spy in the Iron Fang Pack. I was soon to be a spy Luna in a foreign land. I knew for a fact that my days in the pack wouldn’t be good; hence, I relished in the peace that I enjoyed along the journey. How the days ahead would be, I couldn’t tell.
I didn’t know when I fell asleep while clutching my head, but I was woken up by a bone-chilling coldness that seemed out of place. It wasn’t winter yet, so I shouldn’t have been feeling this way.
When I finally made sense of where I was, I noticed a small crowd gathered around me, and a man who looked so imposing and scary stood in the middle.
I wasn’t sure who he was, but I was almost a hundred percent certain that he was the alpha of Iron Fang Pack. His alpha aura wasn’t particularly hidden, after all.
“Tsk! Is this the peace offering Alpha Holmes exchanged with the heads of seven warriors? A wolfless trash like you?”
His voice was cold, and I could already feel the anger behind his words. Even the onlookers looked like they could tear me to shreds, if only the alpha commanded it.
It was at this point when I began to shiver from the cold that I realized something…
They doused me with cold water. Which alpha would humiliate his Luna like this?
A well-deserved welcome for a nobody, huh?
Celeste Holmes, didn’t you just jump from frying pan to fire?
Horres“Aaaaahhhhhhh!!!” Her scream sounded like a blaring siren, awakening a sleeping beast that had been in slumber for ages. It was supposed to grate on my ears, but for a strange reason, I wanted to hear her scream further. Oh my freaking goodness! This couldn’t be anything more than an illusion. How could she taste so sweet and exhilarating? Celeste Holmes felt like nothing I’d ever tasted before. She was fucking tight and… Fuck! Being buried in her cunt did a lot of things to me that I couldn’t explain. Meanwhile, I didn’t bother to think too much. I couldn’t spend time wondering what was happening when I was already buried in this sweet warmth of her juices. “Hmmmmmm! Oh, goddess!” I only held her and stood there, relishing the sweet taste of the girl I was supposed to hate. How was I to know she would give me the most amazing fuck I ever had?“It hurts…” I was pulled out of my reverie when I heard her whimper as she tried to wriggle her way out of my grasp. How did she g
Horres This girl… She looked so weak, yet so determined. I already lost to my inner beast when she reached for my groin. All the strength in my body just waned at that touch, and I let go of her neck without knowing. I felt so weak that I wouldn’t have been able to defend myself if anyone attacked me right now. I was vulnerable before the daughter of my nemesis. What baffled me most was her defiance. She looked scared, but hidden behind those eyes was a defiance that could never be mistaken. It was as if she were a different person at certain points in time. If she had a wolf, I would have understood it to mean her beast tried to give her the confidence she needed to do this. However, it was an open secret that Celeste was wolfless. I could only conclude that her weakness was nothing facade so I would let down my guard around her. I would have said she was fighting a lost cause, if I hadn’t found myself losing to her at every point. I could never endure her touch and fee
Celeste “You think you know me?” He sounded as scary as a reaper who was out here to get me no matter what. Did I just shoot myself in the foot? I couldn’t have been so bold as to have told the alpha that I wasn’t going anywhere. It felt like Lyra wasn’t giving me a way out at all.“No… Al… Alpha Horres? I didn’t… I didn’t mean it like that.” As he took those slow and calculated steps toward me, his eyes burned like fire. He sucked me into them, causing me to remain rooted to my spot, with heat coursing through my body. I hadn’t even recovered from the shock as I took one step backward after every step he took. Then, I saw it. “Holy goddess!” I screamed in the mindlink, unsure of what fate awaited me. I only tried to fix my gaze on the floor but unconsciously noticed the huge bulge in his pants. It was so huge that I feared I might never… Well, how could that thing penetrate me?“He’s so huge. Get closer and touch him, Celeste. Touch him, now! I want to feel our mate’s touch.” Oh,
HorresThis girl had a way of pushing me to insanity. The most annoying factor about it all was that she didn’t even need to speak or do anything. Her mere presence always lit a fire within me. I couldn’t keep my dick in check before her arrival, and right now, all I could do was take deep and long drags on my cigarette. A thick fog of smoke surrounded me, but it did nothing to calm me down. “Fuck!” This girl was sent here to be my nemesis, and I wouldn’t believe otherwise. “A… Alpha,” Shit! That voice!“Get out!” Oxley would need to get me another she-wolf. I wouldn’t be able to predict what could happen if I ever lay with this daughter of Holmes. I knew she was untainted because her voice seemed a bit too forced when she called out to me just now. She was scared. As much as I wanted to explore what it felt like to be buried between her legs, I wouldn’t allow her to control me the way her father wanted. I bet Alpha Holmes expected me to lose control at the sight of his daughter.
HorresWhy haven’t I been able to calm down? I have taken the antidote to the aphrodisiac, yet it didn’t do a thing for me. I know it wouldn’t make me return to normal at once, but I should have been able to stop the most troublesome part by now. Instead of feeling relief, my groin was rather on fire. Did I miss anything here?I haven’t announced to the pack about the antidote developed by Madam Zorah; rather, I chose to ban this aphrodisiac. I feared it may fall into the wrong hands and become a weapon against my pack. My people didn’t need any fight at the moment-not when their alpha wasn’t in the perfect shape.I haven’t communicated with my wolf in a long time, and I couldn’t even remember what his voice sounded like. If an all-out fight were to break out at any moment, it would adversely affect my pack.Nothing confused me more than how the antidote failed me in this critical moment. I would have accused Nanny Zorah of deceiving me if it had not been tested on several wolves in t
Celeste“Okay.” I responded so fast that the beta gave me a once-over. I could bet with everything I've got that this wolf right here could understand how I feel right now. He knew what I was going through, as if he had knowledge of the drug in my system. How did they even outsmart me? No hidden ingredient or drug ever evaded my senses, so what really happened? His stares were so probing that I felt like… I felt utterly naked before him.Well, even though my whole body was currently on fire, i wouldn’t dare to make any advances at the beta. Alpha Horres’ beta couldn’t be any less ruthless than him, so why could Lyra have attempted to pounce on him just now? Did she plan to get us killed or what?I was just lucky that the only thing he said was for me to stop in my tracks. Thankfully, Lyra didn’t insist on throwing herself into his arms. Fuck! What the heck was this thing? I felt a sweet feeling wash over me once again, and I knew it was starting again. The heat pooling up in my cun
