Horres

“Alpha, you haven’t said anything since the attack on our pack. What are your orders? Should we attack them in retaliation?”

“Oxley…“ Hmmm! This couldn’t be as straightforward as it seemed. There must be something else at play, but what could it be? Could there be another reason behind their attack? What could we be missing?

“You asked if I believed in her innocence.” I grabbed the glass of liquor from the table and downed a huge gulp. This happened to be one of the best drinks I got from the Storme Merchants. They never ceased to amaze me by the goodies they discovered and produced on a daily basis.

“I only wanted to know if you believed her words or not.” Oxley stood before me, looking like a child who wanted his father to comment on his performance from school. However, he already did a great job in my absence, yet he still wanted me to say something to show that I wasn’t displeased by the invasion of those pests from the Moon Howler Pack.

“Sit down, Oxley, drink with me.”

Celeste“Th… The last time hurt like hell. I’m afraid of experiencing such pain again.” Was he about to slap the life out of me or choke the air out of my lungs like he did the last time? My head fell downward, and I didn’t dare to look into the eyes of this man who could end my existence in the next second.I couldn’t tell whether he was angry or not, but the alpha didn’t say anything for a few breaths. During that time, my body was on fire, but the warning bells wouldn’t stop ringing in my head.I became totally still in his arms, and my heartbeat filled the whole room. I could even hear how chaotic it was. The silence was tormenting me. This abominable drug wouldn’t let me breathe, and the alpha’s scent was equally driving me crazy.I just had the most sumptuous spread of meals since my existence in this realm, but could it really be my last meal? “M… my Lord…” My body went out of control, as I trembled from all parts. The alpha’s hand gently landed on my neck, and my breath hitche

Celeste The spoon trembled in my hand, but I just had to stuff the food into my mouth regardless. At first, I was scared that the alpha would poison me, but it turned out I was just paranoid. Just when I relaxed a bit in his presence, Lyra threw another bombshell on me. She said Alpha Horres wanted to fatten me so that he could devour me afterward. The dreadful feeling returned uncontrolled. I really wasn’t ready for that level of pain tonight. Not at all.“Calm down, Celeste. I know a way to prevent him from hurting you. Just eat quickly.” I couldn’t explain what Lyra did, but my whole body became extra sensitive, just like the night I was drugged. Shit! Did the alpha drug me again? Was it just so he could watch me beg him to f*ck me? Or, could all this be Lyra’s scheme?Lyra said I slept for almost two days because she lost a lot of vitality healing the injured warrior. Now, she wanted me to serve a man who treated me like a slut. No mention of the warrior even came from the alph

Celeste“Celeste… Celeste… Celeste…” Mmmmm! Who was that? Wasn’t I dead? Was this how the afterlife felt? The sun here could also blind someone who had just woken up. I never knew dead people could equally sleep and wake up like living beings. “Stop daydreaming, young lady. Who said you were dead?” Oh, Lyra followed me here? Or it wasn’t her voice I heard just now. Huh? Wait! I couldn’t understand what was going on. Someone was speaking in my room, but even as I opened my eyes and adjusted myself to the faint glow of sunlight in the room, I couldn’t see anyone. It was clearly sunset.I quickly adjusted my eyes and sat up in bed. “Where was this?” I’d never seen any room this exquisite before. “Wow!” This didn’t look anything like the afterlife. I know I’d never been there before, but… I knew at this point that I wasn’t dead. If that were the case, then where was I?Everything in here screamed luxury and class. Never had I seen such beautifully decorated lamps before. In the Moon How

Celeste“I didn’t do it.” I kept chanting those words like a mantra. The goddess knew I was innocent. Earlier on, everything happened so fast that I couldn’t react in time. I… I couldn’t even do anything about… that thing.“Mmmmm!” I tried to speak, but he wasn’t having it. Alpha Horres was already convinced that I ripped his warrior’s heart out of his chest. He was so certain that no one stopped to wonder how a wolfless trash like Celeste Holmes could do that. No matter what happened, I was always the guilty party. Nobody considered the possibility that I had blood on my hands because I wanted to save the warrior. I never wished him dead, but here I was, being choked to death. I was innocent of all the charges against me, but no one gave a shit. I could only watch my miserable life flash past my eyes as I imagined how ashamed I would have been if I faced my mother in the afterlife. I promised to fulfill her dying wish, but all I ever did was bring disgrace to her name. Beta Oxley

HorresOxley could kneel for as long as he wanted. He might even sleep on the floor and roll over, but that wouldn’t change my mind. I had to do my duty and rid the pack of the hidden dangers before handing over the reins to him. If I allowed him to take over as things were, I might just be the worst predecessor ever. Oxley wouldn’t refuse to offer me a hand when it was time to take out Alpha Holmes and that old geezer. First, I had to hand over and find myself a cure before… Wait! I think I missed something. Everything began to change after I f*cked the Holmes girl. F*ck me! Could she be the cure to my problem? Come to think of it—I only took her yesterday, and my condition improved drastically today. This couldn’t be a coincidence. No. No. It wasn’t. Why didn’t I think of this earlier? Alpha Holmes might as well be the reason for my situation. How else could his daughter be the reason my situation improved so suddenly?Knowing that man, he wouldn’t intentionally try to help me c

Horres“O, ye mighty Dragon, why don’t you use your supernatural abilities to revive them, huh?” My question caught him off guard, and he couldn’t hide the panic in his gaze. I didn’t know why he came to my pack, but I had no reason to entertain his folly anymore. “Now, drag those deadbeats and clear off my lands.” I barked the order particularly sharply, making him feel the fury in my words.Dragon was away from the pack before I could say jack. “Mark my words, Dragon, next time, there will be no burial ground for you lot.” All the rogues around the tree on which the arrow landed dropped dead before they could discover what hit them. All they had to do was breathe, and that breath became their last. A few of them who were further away from the tree only experienced dizziness, but they would live. This was as far as my mercy on Dragon went. If this bastard ever dared to encroach on my lands again, I wouldn’t bother tearing him to shreds. Today, some of them got poisoned, but the res
