Maverick's POV I don't know much about Alpha-Beta relationship dynamics, but I know a murder attempt when I see one.Chunks of grass fly up from Xavier's heels as he runs across the grass for his life. The king's lips twitch, tugging up into a smirk before stepping forward and approaching Shade. “I'm sorry for electrocuting you,” Grayson said, and Shade huffed a breath out through his nose, blowing Grayson's hair back.
