LOGINBook 1: Damon’s Forbidden Secret I know I should stay away from my step-uncle’s private life, but my curiosity keeps getting me into trouble. Damon has always been the one person I should never cross, and his marriage is far from the perfect picture it appears to be. Then one night, he catches me somewhere I should not be, and everything between us changes. Now I am caught between a dangerous secret and a man who has never been easy to resist. Book 2: The Three Alpha Brothers’ Possession Their family hates mine, and their father forbade his sons from getting involved with me. But the three Alpha brothers have no intention of obeying him. Their attention puts me at the center of a feud that has lasted for years, and the more I fight for my independence, the more determined they become to win me over. I should be their enemy, but none of us seems willing to walk away. Book 3: My Billionaire Boss Hates Chubby Girls My billionaire boss has never hidden his dislike for women like me. He made his opinion clear when he told me I needed to lose weight, and I have no intention of forgetting the humiliation. So why has the same man who once made me feel undesirable suddenly started treating me differently? I refuse to be another woman who falls for his money or his attention. If he wants a chance with me, he will have to prove that he sees more than my size.

“Are you even listening?” Yelena snarls, breaking into my thoughts. I blink and try to recall whether I did hear her. I didn’t. “Sorry,” I whisper. She shakes her head and looks me up and down. “Why are you wearing a skimpy outfit at work?” Heat rises up my neck and I look down at my outfit. She's not exactly wrong. But she knows I don’t have that many clothes. It’s been three weeks since I’ve moved in with them and I haven’t had my first paycheck yet. So I can’t afford any new outfits. Uncle Damon took me in when I had nothing. I walked out of my mother’s house straight into his, with nothing but a small suitcase in my hand. Yelena wasn’t exactly thrilled with the setup. But I had just left home after finding out my boyfriend had been sleeping with my little sister for months, and my mother knew the entire time. I run my hands over the short skirt and try to keep my heart from climbing out of my throat. “Sorry,” I murmur, still looking at the outfit. I hear her chair scrape as she stands. “All you do is apologize. I just need you to do your job.” She comes to a stop in front of me. “And move out of my house as soon as you get your first salary.” I swallow and look up, then I nod. She turns back to her desk, making it clear that our conversation is over. I scurry out of her office and return to my desk, hoping nobody noticed how close I was to falling apart. I pull up the invoices I was working on before Yelena summoned me and get back to it. There are several payments to reconcile and a report that needs to be finished before the end of the day. And I’m desperate to prove myself, fresh out of college. I finish the report just before lunch and send it to Yelena for approval. She replies with a short email asking me to correct two entries. I check them, fix the errors, and send it back without making a fuss. When she approves it ten minutes later, I quietly celebrate my victory and move on to the next task. By five, my eyes are tired, my back hurts, and I’m more than ready to leave. I save my work, shut down my computer, grab my handbag, and head towards the elevator. “Millicent.” I turn around. Yelena is standing outside her office, slipping her phone into her handbag. “Yes?” I answer. “Are you leaving now?” I glance at the clock on the wall. “Yes.” She nods with a smile. “Come with me, then. I am going home.” I stare at her for a second. She does this every day after work and it still catches me by surprise. I know she’s doing it to impress uncle Damon, and have him thinking she’s taking care, but I can’t blow her cover. She let me stay in her house. I head straight for the kitchen as soon as we get there. I’m hungry enough to eat whatever I find, provided it doesn't require more effort than putting it in the microwave. I open the fridge and spot a container of food on the middle shelf. “That's for Damon,” Yelena says behind me. I turn around. “Oh. Sorry. I'll find something else.” “You can make yourself something. Just clean up after yourself when you're done.” “I will.” She places her handbag on the counter and takes out her phone. For a moment, I think she is going to say something else, but she walks away without looking at me. I make myself scrambled eggs and toast, then eat at the kitchen counter. Then I wash my plate before Yelena finds another reason to complain about me. I switch off the kitchen light and head upstairs with my phone in my hand, already thinking about getting into bed. I reach the landing and hear Damon’s voice downstairs. My steps slow. I can’t make out what he is saying. It sounds like he’s on the phone. My heart starts beating faster, and I glance towards the staircase. For a ridiculous second, I consider going back down to say goodnight, even though I have absolutely nothing to say to him. A goodnight wouldn’t hurt, right? But I decide against it and continue towards my room. I reach the door and wrap my fingers around the handle, but Damon calls for Yelena from downstairs, his voice carrying through the house. My heart gives another stupid thump before I gently shut my bedroom door.Damon’s POVI lift Millicent’s hair away from her neck and carefully fasten the clasp of the necklace. She holds her hair up for me while I make sure the chain is secured.“There,” I murmur, letting the pendant fall into place. Her fingers move over the piece. The diamond catches the light as she turns her head, and I watch her expression change when she gets a proper look at it.Some of the weight on my chest lifts when I see her shocked expression. It’s already been a few days since Dom’s bombshell, and I still feel conflicted.“Damon.” She turns around, eyes narrowing at me. “How much did this cost?”I slip my arms around her waist, pulling her closer. “Happy birthday, baby.”She looks at me for a moment before reaching up to cup my face. “Thank you.”I lower my head and kiss her, taking my time with it. Her arms circle my neck, and I smile against her lips when she rises onto her toes to meet me halfway. I could spend the entire morning right here, but unfortunately, we hav
Millicent’s POVDamon doesn’t say a single real sentence the whole way home.He just sits there staring out the window with his jaw so tight I’m surprised his teeth haven’t cracked. Every time I open my mouth to ask what’s wrong he shuts me down with a single word.It makes my pulse jump every time. He’s never spoken to me like this. If it’s not “fine”, it’s “later”.That’s all I get. I glance at Aaron in the rearview mirror and he gives me this tiny look like he’s seen him like this before and knows better than to poke the bear. I sit back and shut up for the rest of the drive, but my stomach is in knots. Whatever happened in that office with Dominguez has him deep in thought. I just hope he rejected the suggestion. We walk into the penthouse in silence, and I’m already hungry again. I drop my bag by the door, ready to just head up and run him a bath before finding something to eat.I turn his way, removing my earrings. “I’ll run you a—“.His mouth crashes into mine hard enou
Millicent’s POVIt’s already been an hour since Damon disappeared with Mr. Dominguez. Most of the guests have left, and I’ve been sitting with Eleanor and Passion.Eleanor is kind of nice. She talks too much though. She’d get along with Nina, even though she hasn’t been gossiping. Just talking about college and boys with smelly armpits. Her friend is another story. I haven’t heard her say a single word since most of the guests left about half an hour ago.I honestly don’t see how they’re friends. They are totally opposites. Eleanor is a fashion major, and even the way she’s dressed says it all, while Passion is in an oversized T-shirt like she’s trying to hide her figure.Eleanor suddenly gets up. “I need to pee. Passion, talk to Milly so she doesn’t think we’re boring.”Passion looks up, startled. “What? Why me?”“Because you’re funny when you actually open your mouth.” Eleanor squeezes her shoulder. “And we’re the only people here.”Passion looks at me, and I see something i
Dominguez nods, clearly amused. “Ah. The forbidden fruit.”Milly’s cheeks pink as he leads us inside. The place is already full. I know most of the faces Dom plays with. I’m mostly alright with his made men because I respect any man who built himself. It’s the spoon-fed brats I don’t like.Especially his eldest son, Bobby. Compared to him, I’d rather do business with his middle brother.Elliot is standing near the fireplace with a glass in his hand. He looks over when we walk in. Same hard eyes as his father. Same stiff posture. We’ve done enough business over the years to know exactly where we stand with each other. Both the respect and the dislike are mutual. Still, he’s a better businessman than his brother.Dominguez makes the rounds with us, introducing Millicent as if she’s just another detail. She remains quiet and polite. Doesn’t seem bothered by the eyes around the table. We’ve been the talk of the internet so much I doubt anybody here doesn’t already know our story. We’
