Two weeks later…

The golden rays of the sun seeped into the room, causing Scarlett's eyes to flutter open. For the next few minutes or so, she remained on the bed, hands on her hair as she thought about the recent happenings in her life.

She was still in this position when her phone buzzed on the bedside table. Reaching out for it, she discovered it was a message from her service provider.

“I was even thinking it was someone important.” She mumbled, throwing her legs off the bed.

Still wearing a little frown, she made her way to the bathroom and after a warm bath, dressed up and then went downstairs for breakfast.

A week ago, Damien had given her his credit card and together with Armani, they had gone to purchase a lot of clothes she would be using for the duration of the six months.
