Vee's POV:
Hunting on a full moon meant I couldn't use any gun related weapons. It would be too risky. Even hunting in another pack's territory was bad enough. But, I felt I had to do this on the full moon. If I was going to find that rogue then it would be tonight. But, I have to be careful because this isn't my pack's territory. If I get caught I will be in serious danger. They'll have rights to kill me without asking questions. I want to make sure I find that rogue before anybody else does. The only thing the station gave me was a sedative I could use on the rogue if I crossed him. I strapped my own bow across my back along with a bag of arrows. I also had a change of clothes securing the sedative. The straps were spell-bound to adjust with my form. I could transform easily while wearing the straps and they'd stay put. The rogue's scent led me across the borders of Deepfur's territory. This was the lycan king's territory. It was a largeJossie's POV: Father's voice echoed from downstairs, 'Jossie'. He called for me and it must've woken me up. Sometime between running back to the city and running from Casimir... I must have fallen asleep. Did I make it back to the motel? Did I change back to a human? I don't remember how I got back. I opened my eyes to find I was at home curled up in my velvet purple bed sheets. Tucked under my arm was a rainbow llama plushie. Was this a dream? I stuck the plush under the blanket for security before throwing the blankets back. I crept out of bed as my head throbbed from a morning headache. 'Jossie,' his voice echoed once again. Why does this feel familiar? I walked downstairs and paused when I hit the last step of the staircase. 'Jossie.' His voice was there again. I couldn't help but to feel deja vu. "Dad?" I asked as I eyed down the kitchen. My heart raced in my chest. 'Jossie,' he whispered out. "What is it dad?" I wondered as I walked towards the kitchen. The
Ethan's POV: 'That rogue is around here somewhere...' My wolf, whose name is Amarok, was not too far from me. I knew he was telling the truth. But, there was more to what Josephine had said. There was another Rabidcrest wolf here. One that wasn't the rogue or Josephine. Probably sent to deal with this situation quietly. I could smell a second scent. Something Josephine either didn't pick up on or decided not to mention to me. So they probably didn't meet last night. Josephine was telling me the truth. This could only mean one thing... The Luna of Rabidcrest had some balls. She gave orders for her huntress to come unannounced. The other female... is here for the rogue... But, I wouldn't put it past her to come for Josephine next. All this trespassing... It’s an offense my alpha will not take lightly. They have to be confronted for their actions. But, I will leave it up to Alpha Camren to deal with. I'll just follow his orders... Make sure it’s dealt with. If the
Jossie's POV: I made it back to the motel but I lost my key card to my room. I had to stop by the office where Jered informed me Nathalie had also stopped by last night looking for me. Jered gave me an extra key to get into my room. He also reminded me about my part time job coming up this weekend. He light heartedly told me to make sure Nathalie would send over his pie she apparently owed him. I decided to save telling him I was leaving until it was ready to hand over the room keys. I went back to my room. My room's phone cord was cut... which meant I'd have to start looking for Nathalie by stopping by the diner first. Hopefully she will be there. There was still time before 'opening.' I decided to take a quick shower and round up all my stuff. I blow dried my hair, got to brush my teeth, and got dressed in a red leather jacket, blue jeans, and a black v-neck. I kept my wardrobe simple... I didn't know what to wear to the manor after all.
Continuing Jossie's POV: "Probably a good idea." The Rabidcrest wolf agreed to my suggestion of taking Nathalie back to her apartment. This meant my plan at escaping was going to work... At least I couldn't see any flaws in it. It gives me enough time to think and perfect it. "If her pack got angry we kidnapped your friend... your mother might wring my neck." "You mean she would wring my neck," I grumbled. "I didn't catch your name," I said as I got the door for her. She placed Nathalie gently on the passenger's side. I rummaged through my new clothes sitting in the bed of the truck and pulled out some pjs I thought she could fit. She was a little bigger than me... But, I beat her on height. In fact I beat both of them in height. I'm pretty sure she can squeeze into the matching set I picked out. This woman might be short... but she was packing some arm muscles. She must be important in my m
Nathalie's POV:"Nathalie!" Cheryl's voice woke me up. I sat up quickly as the moments of what happened last hit me. I had been knocked out from that werewolf's bite! I dug at the soreness affecting my neck. My nails itch away at the surface. "NATHALIE!" Cheryl's irritated voice made my head snap towards my apartment door. They must have brought me here afterwards. I could smell the remaining scent of Josephine in here... Along with the sweet aroma of the enemy. I pushed off the couch and to my surprise I noticed I was wearing a shirt big enough to be a nightgown. It still had the purchase tag hanging on the sleeve. I pulled the tag off as I walked towards the door. I unlocked it as I came face to face with Cheryl's worried look. "If you're going to stay home and sleep all day can't you keep your daughter?" Cheryl's attitude stung my mind as she placed a hand on her hip. She could be sweet when she wanted to... But, I cou
Jossie's POV:Mother's voice echoed from downstairs, 'Jossie'. She called for me and it must've woken me up. I was at home curled up in my velvet purple bed sheets. Tucked under my arm was a rainbow llama plushie. I stuck the plush under the blanket for security before throwing the blankets back. I crept out of bed as my head throbbed from a morning headache. I've been here before. I've done this before... But, the weird part is I don't think mother ever woke me up before.'Jossie,' her voice echoed once again. Through my bedroom door I was out into an empty hallway. The darkness consumed me. A flickering light illuminated the stairs. Her voice came from downstairs. Naturally... I walked downstairs and paused when I hit the last step of the staircase. 'Jossie.' Her voice was there again. I couldn't help but to feel deja vu. "Mother?" I asked as I eyed down the kitchen. My heart raced in my chest.'Jossie,' This time I heard my father's deep voice
Continuing Jossie's POV: We walked through a secure heavy metal door where I was taken into the hall of familiar cells. They were holding cells with nothing in them besides two bunk beds to sit on and a sink/toilet system. I couldn't believe they were actually going through with it. Jude's anger forced a growl through me as I felt slowly falling out of control of myself. My heart sped up as I felt a rage growing deep inside me. I fought against Zeke suddenly as I tried to get away from him. I felt him lift me off the ground as I went to kick. I couldn't stop myself as I fought to break free. But, Zeke was much stronger than me and was able to keep control of me. Matthew blocked any chance of exiting this place even if I were to get away from Zeke. I had to calm down. I knew I did. I dug my heels into the ground when I faked surrendering. He shoved me forward anyways as his strength outweighed my own. Zeke pushed me into a door where I would be surrounded
Continuing Juliette's POV: "The town witch will know what to do," my mom explained. "The best part is... they'll obey what I ask them to do since I'm Luna. You can have anything you want my dear... as long as you have power. You should remember that when you are queen." "I never knew the pack even had a witch... What is she? An outcast?" I asked as I looked out the window to see the limo driving out of town and towards the woods. Of course... We're leaving town. No wonder why I didn't know anything about it. Knowing mother... This is another thing she's kept a secret. "The town witch has lived in the pack for many generations," my mother explained. "He mostly keeps to himself." He? I didn't know witches could be males. "Why don't we call him a wood fairy if he lives away from the town?" I asked and snickered to myself. My mother rolled her eyes as if I annoyed her by my question. She made it clear by the following silence she w
