“THERE’S A LETTER FOR YOU REECE!” I shout into the castle as sift through the mail. Usually someone brings the mail to everyone but I’m anxious about receiving a letter.
I recently sent a letter to one of the greatest warriors in all of were-history asking if I could spend time training in his pack. He hasn’t sent anything back but I check the mail everyday just to make sure.
Reece storms into the room and snatches the letter from my hand.
He scoffs before reading it out loud, “I know you’re probably mad about the work trip but I’ll be back soon. I love you. Kim. I love you, Kim? Can you believe this?” He looks up at me. “She has an emergency work trip with no cell service and the best I get is a card saying I know you’re mad and I love you? What bullshit is this?”
