Chapter 3 - Surprise

Bella checked the other footages too, hoping that Mr. Cinderella hadn’t gone home yet tonight but soon enough, the corners of her mouth curled up into a gloating arc.

What does she expect? That man surely came to the party to suck up on Caitlin. He probably realized that just his pretty face was not enough to get his hands on the Bluemoon pack. 

Finally realizing how stupid she was trying to search for that guy, Bella returned to scanning and checking each footage around the villa. When the scene on her screen flashes a garden filled with expensive flowers, a mocking smile crossed her face. 

In the middle of that garden is a man, and a woman locked up in a tight embrace. She immediately recognized the woman as her sister, Caitlin Richards, who should be busy entertaining the guests in the living room. But what caught her attention wasn’t Caitlin’s presence but the evil-looking face of the guy she was with.

Burning with curiosity, Bella shut her computer close, put it inside her bag and hid the bag under her bed before she went to open the only window in that room. She expertly jumped over the outer wall before finally landing without a sound on the earthy ground. 

She briskly walked over to the garden and hid herself against the wall, a playful smile plastered on her face as she listen to her sister’s incessant whining. 

“Gaspal, did you see? My father doesn’t give so much care about me now that Bella’s here! And she didn’t even bother to respect me in front of the guests! She humiliated me!”

‘Gaspal? Why is that name so familiar?’ Bella asked herself. Her lips formed a big ‘O’ when she suddenly remembered a little boy the same age as Caitlin before.

The earlier conversation then turned into sounds of lips slurping.

Bella was still deep in her thoughts. That’s why she wasn’t able to see the water sprinkler activator and accidentally stepped on it. 

Her eyes widened as she heard Caitlin’s tiny scream. “Gaspal! Someone’s in there!

“It’s okay, babe. Calm down! I’ll check it out. Stay here!” Bella almost panic to look for a place to hide when suddenly she was pulled into the darkness and was pinned into a narrow gap between the tall green grass wall that gives the garden a maze-like illusion. 

Caitlin felt so flush, knowing that someone saw her being so intimate with Gaspal. Although there are rumors about their upcoming marriage, she wasn’t that sure yet since her first turn was yet to come and she was still blind to her real mate. It would be a total chaos if anyone knew that she’s being physically active with Gaspal. Meanwhile, Bella immediately recognized the man who pulled her away as Mr. Cinderella. When he caught her looking at him quizzically, he had this look that says that he knows she was eavesdropping too. 

The narrow space forced their bodies together, the tight space caused them to breathe each other’s air. The small space also infested a bit of heat and embarrassment on Bella’s cheeks. 

Mr. Cinderella’s skin is extraordinarily smooth and clear. She already knew he was good looking from the footage earlier, but seeing him up close, his beauty seems to be so ethereal. 

“Let go!” she gritted her teeth and yelled in a whisper-liked voice as she felt his strong arms pushed her closer to the grass wall. 

Mr. Cinderella pursed his lips. The knot in his throat moved slowly before she felt his hold on her body loosened. Bella stared at him quizzically when he covered her ears, using both of his hands as he leaned closer to her and whispered in a raspy voice, “You wouldn’t want to hear this.

Bella was stunned for a while before she glared at him fiercely and pulled his hands away from her, struggling a bit because of the tiny space that traps them. 

“Don’t touch me!” The handsome man gave a low laugh and rested his head on her shoulder, much to her surprise.

“Don’t be too loud. You will distract them. If that happens, I’ll tell them you're my girlfriend.” Bella gave the man a blank look, pushed him away, and quickly went out from the corner, avoiding Gaspal. 

Behind her, the man lifted the gold-frame of his glasses up to his nose bridge and stared at Bella’s retreating figure. His eyes glowed in a bright red color as his wolf recognize the scent left on the tip of his fingers. 

The corner of his lips roused up a bit. “Guess we have to wait until she recognizes who we are.”

When Bella got back inside the mansion, her clothes once again attracted the attention of the guests inside. 

“Why haven’t you changed yet?!” Allen Richards wasn't really pleased with her. He felt like she was embarrassing him on purpose. 

Bella plastered a rather gentle smile before pointing her finger in the garden's direction where Caitlin and Gaspal were too busy making out. “Caitlin asked me to convey a message to everyone.

Allen Richards’ forehead creased with his youngest’ statement. 

“What is it?” he asked suspiciously

“She said that she prepared a surprise for everyone! Just go to the garden to see it!” she said, her gentle smile remains before she excused herself and left everyone contemplating whether to believe her. 

Hope Richards, Caitlin’s mother, frowned slightly as she pondered with Bella’s words. Her daughter mentioned nothing about surprises. 

“What is this all about, Hope?” Allen asked his wife, who just shook her head. 

“Why don’t we look?” she suggested instead, while pointing in the direction where the people already went to. 

“It’s very rare to have Caitlin trouble herself to prepare for such events. Of course, we should support her!” she said before linking her arms around her husband’s arms, smiling as they follow the crowd into the garden. 

The crowd wandered around the garden and arrived at the maze-like attraction of the luna’s personal garden, but everyone halted when they heard scandalous loud sounds of kissing and groans, followed by wanton groans and moans of a lady. 

Everyone felt nailed to the ground as they saw two people’s figures in a scandalous position hidden in the dark. ........”.. .. .”......”. ?  .. ..dalous position hidden in the dark.
