She had proceeded to dial Cara's number. That sweet bitch of a best friend was the literally the only person she had to talk to, in the world.

She couldn't tell her mom. Neither could she tell her other close friends who she knew wouldn't understand her situation and would probably make insensitive jokes about it.

It reminded her of a faithful day, six months ago. Her three friends had visited her since she canceled out on their girls night hangout, earlier before the time.
