It was no was nothing less than five minutes after her call with Grayson when they had the doorbell ring. Impulsively, Yara turned towards Hilda as they both exchanged glances.

A maid walked into the kitchen. “A lady called Lolita asks to see you.”

“You should let her in.” She muttered, standing up.

She didn’t want to appear rude so she followed the maid out of the kitchen, ordered her to direct Lolita towards the living room which she went there to wait for the ‘guiding angel’ Grayson sent to her.

Of course she needed no sorcery to know that he wasn’t being all that truthful when he talked about Michael asking him to help bring his girlfriend to the company’s dinner party. They must have planned this. Besides, there was no damn way he could bring another lady to the company’s dinner party. It would bring about rumors and false speculations. One of his drivers would get her to the venue. But not together with him.

Yara didn’t want to be pitied. There was no need for Grayson
