Alex's POV:

On my way back home, I read her mind when she said I had a dark heart and she didn't want me to return. I visited Gerry's house and had a few drinks with him for old time sake. While we talked about the various things we missed about our old life.

When we finished, it was already late so I stayed over at least she would be a little relieved and hate me less.

She needed a little privacy.

I thought of different excuses on why she wanted to be alone in the house or simply away from me.

Riele's POV:

When I woke up, I saw Alex starring at my face

"Ahh........." I screamed out of shock. That was creepy. I bumped my head with his and almost ended up crying

"Oh sorry...." He apologized. The same person who almost strangled me yesterday apologized.

I felt the urge to feel his temperature, maybe he was sick or something. I was confused. Maybe he's girlfriend made him happy.

The thought struck my head and I couldn't help but believe that.

"I didn't meet my girlfriend tonight" how..... How did he hear what I thought.

" Well, I didn't ask"

" You know, you wanted to Know" I was quite relieved that he wasn't with her but why, I didn't Know. 

I smiled and then hid it did I didn't want him to notice

"How did u read my mind or thought" I Asked annoyed

."it's part of been a Lycanthrope"

" Woah, I wanna be one" i said smiling like a ten baby

" You will"

I got up and headed for the bathroom and then my mind wandered off to my mom and my Bestfriend and those people in school that talked to me even if it was once in a lifetime

Mrs Steele's POV

       I stood outside with the police commissioner yelling at him

"Pls find me my daughter"

"Ma, we are doing our best to find...."

I cut him off out of annoyance 

"well your best means nothing to me. Shove it down your ass"

" Ma, your daughter was kidnapped by a guy who isn't in the US face recognition system and when they get to this point. It all disappears. I don't understand it and that's what slowing our progress" he explained showing me a clip.

I felt tears roll down my eyes. 

I wished my daughter was here. I wasn't the best mother but that didn't mean I hated her or didn't love her. I just wanted to make her happy. I thought she needed her space.

"I understand"

"Ma'am, we'll do our best to get her back"

" Thank you and I'm sorry for being rude"

" I am a father too and I understand what you are going through'

"Thanks."

I smiled as he walked out. Riele please come back.

Riele's POV

I got out of the bathroom and Alex served me breakfast. I slowly ate it while giving quick glanced at his face

"Hurry up"

"Why are you so in a hurry"

"We have somewhere to be'

"And"

"And We'll get dressed up, we are going on a quick visit to Gasius home

"Who's Gasius and why are we going over to visit him" I asked

" He's one of the previous supreme alpha's" 

"And" I asked opting for a reply

" We have something important to talk about,so he asked me to bring my mate" that's were I come in.

" Ohkeeey"

" Yh, so hurry up"

We arrived in a huge building with lot of Lycanthropes walking around it, thankfully none of them wanted to bite my head off.

Alex talked to them for a little while before returning, a brown head man walked us to one of the apartments in the building and a blonde haired man walked out smiling

"Are you Gasius" I asked out of curiosity.

The man laughed and then smiled

" No, I'm his assistant, Gasius is on the room at the left. I'll take you there"

" Good day, Mr Marvins" Alex finally greeted 

" Alex, call me Marvins. Follow me" he said as we headed for Gasius. 

He opened the door and a brown haired average age man welcomed us sitting at the edge of a couch.

"Alex, how are you. Is this your mate. Come here fragile one" he said as I walked up to him.

He held my hand softly

"The Divine being made a good choice for you Alex, unlike me" he held my hand tighter making me feel uncomfortable.

" Sit next to me,pretty" I sat next to him and he swinged his hand behind my neck. Holding me close.

I prayed that Alex could read my thoughts right now

I was so uncomfortable

"Mike, let go of my mate. She will sit with me" he said strictly

"Oooh, the jelaous type isn't he" Mike or Gasius said.

" Go on little one, meet your mate" he said with a smile on his face.

I sat next to Alex and they both started a conversation that I had no intention to listen to

I was quiet throughout and I nearly slept off. Both of them were boring.

I nudged Alexander trying to make them stop talking, Mike noticed as he teased Alex

"Alex, mama is calling" he said smiling.

He simply ignored continuing his conversation. I closed my eyes drifting to sleep since I couldn't stand listening to their words.

"Wake up" Alex said calmly with a frown

I stood up slowly scratching on my eyes.

"Am up, are you done with your meeting" he frowned

"Yes I am, let's go"

"We walked together with him holding my hands not cause we were a couple but cause I was too tired to walk on my own.

When we got to apartment. He left my hand immediately and it suddenly felt cold.

"I'm going to bed, do so too in 30 mins or else"

" Else what"

He pushed me to the wall squeezing my hand tightly. I tried to push him off but it only became worse since his fingers pierced through my hands

"I'm sorry"

He let go of my hand and walked away with his final warning

"30 minute's"
