“What are you doing in here, Garrett?” I ask the moment Garrett’s face comes into view after he closes the door behind him. The sheer force he had used to push me from locking the door as soon as I got in was still reacting on my thumb, which had been the significant impact of the force. At least I didn’t break a bone so I could still hold in the pain.
I passed him a frown so he could know just how displeased I was with him because what he had done was the most foolish thing ever, irrespective of what he came here for.
