Frank was staring at the medical report sitting on his desk in front of him, flicking his gaze up to Dr Rainwood and back for several seconds trying to fully fathom and understand what he was reading.

"Okay, run this by me again..."

Dr Rainwood let out a little breath of nerves and patience. "I tested Aria Te Ariki's blood to make sure everything was tracking well for her birthday and just to double check her Omega status, that sort of thing, after the incident. It came back she is indeed very special, one in a billion special, and has Alpha positive, recessive genes."

"And what is that exactly?"

"It's almost like an extra chromosome, as you know werebeasts DNA is vastly different from us Fae who have a magical core.
