"Kahlia!" The girl screamed across the open quad in a gutteral growl.
Dean flinched back in shock, clasping his right ear and looked at the girl who had decided to come around the corner to yell out right next to where he was sitting. She appeared from nowhere while he was sitting quietly on the bench seat against the school building wall next to the corner, scaring the bejesus out of him.
"Fuck! Hey, loud mouth! That's quite a growl you have there..." He commented flippantly, yelling out as she flew passed him in a rage.
The girl twirled with surprising grace, her face lighting up with the most devilish smirk, her green eyes sparkling with life as she raised her hands imitating two guns and shot at him.
"Bam! Yeah, better be careful not to piss me off, hot shot!" She pivoted back with a swirl of long golden brown hair and was off running again.
Dean stared at her, shocked speechless, his heart pounding. Those amazing sea green eyes, that fan of hair that let out an amazing scent of coconut and vanilla and that twirl and flash of cheeky tongue as she smirked at him, who was this girl?
Next to him someone laughed. "Ha! Whose your fiesty girlfriend?"
Dean's friend Mark dropped down on the seat next to him, highly amused, as his eyes followed the girl's departure.
"She's not my girlfriend, asshole...managed to scare the fuck out of me!" His expression dropped into a watchful glare as she ran off after someone.
"Ha? Really, that's surprising. I see that glint of interest in your eyes." Mark teased.
Dean's eyes clouded and he looked away, standing up and slinging his satchel over his shoulder to walk across the lawn. "Did you hear her yell out? Shit, that bitch is scary."
"I also heard her sassy reply to you...admit it, you were interested the moment she spoke back to you...no one who knows you would dare to speak back to you like that..."
Dean clucked his tongue. "Hardly..." He rolled his eyes. No, as soon as he had looked into those eyes and inhaled her scent he was interested, not that he was going to let Mark know that. He wondered who she was, he had never seen her before today...and their High School wasn't that big, nor was this town...which meant she was an overseas import.
"She was cute..." Mark breathed, raking a hand through his curly blond locks.
"Shut up!" Dean growled. She was far more than cute...damn it.
Mark's eyes sparkled with amusement at Dean's quick defensive response. "I wonder if she's a cheerleader, with a twirl like that...that was some quick reflexes."
Dean sighed, rolling his eyes. "Would you quit it..."
Marc held his fingers up like guns and started shooting at him, laughing his head off. "Pew pew muthafucker..."
He ran off, flinching and ducking as Dean swung his bag out trying to hit him with it.
Dean sighed bitterly. "Shit, I'm not going to live this down for the rest of the damn day..."
Aria was led by the hand to a glorious large room with a long banquet table, it sat twelve and there were already five people there. She cast her eye over them, two women and three men. One was not an Elder and she sat at the end of the table in a large ornate wooden chair like a throne, it matched the one at the opposite end to which Aria assumed Alpha Carlyle would sit. She stared at the woman as her mind processed who she obviously was.Luna!Alpha Carlyle's mate. They all stood up and stepped out of their chairs as Christoff entered with everyon
Aria looked out the window of the stretched Limousine with a gaping jaw as she looked up at the large stone mansion. It was huge, five storeys of impressive stone work with large arched windows and two very large arched doors over-shadowed by to impressive bronze statues of large wolves either side of the steps. It looked like someone had transported a castle from Germany and then somehow modernised it. The brass lanterns that shone from all along the front of the Packhouse gave it an almost fairytail light. She watched as the car stopped in front, side on to the steps, and the large doors of the Packhouse opened on cue with Pritchard stepping out with a servant, who ran down the steps and opened the back door of the Limousine.
While Aria and the girls enjoyed their time at a spa getting massages and getting Aria all dolled up for the dinner, and the boys spent their free time eating and hanging out. Dominic flew back early, leaving Aria's hotel suite before anyone knew he was there. As his car drove up in front of the packhouse he decided it was the perfect time to post the photos on his social media. He chuckled to himself as he tagged 'dragon boy' and his mates to make sure he saw them and realised Aria belonged to Dominic Carlyle. He saw Pritchard appear on the steps and clucked his tongue as he got out of the car.
Aria's alarm went off and she woke to it with a groan of discontent, she felt so comfortable she didn't want to move. She became aware of a divine scent lingering around her, making her feel warm and safe. She blinked and looked up with a frown wondering what she was seeing because surely what her brain was telling her couldn't be true. She gasped and sat up, staring at the shirtless Dominic stretched out on the bed beside her. He was on his side, facing her and his golden eyes were watching her with that smug amusement."Good morning, my little savage, did you sleep well?""What the hell are you doing?" She screamed, scrambling backwards and letting out a loud s
Dominic grinned widely at her as her eyes darkened into an accusing glare. "What's the matter, princess? Disappointed I'm only here to secure your safety...you want to continue getting hot and heavy with me?""Asshole..." She muttered under her breath, looking away. She gasped as her head was suddenly enveloped by a huge hand and pressed to the back of the couch. She was sitting side on and her cheek was squashed up as she turned her eyes to look through Dominic's splayed fingers as he loomed into her vision, his eyes gleaming."That's the last time
Kahlia had just left, after receiving the message from Louise that there was no news concerning the fugitives and they had managed to evade capture. She had told him there were going to be two Epsilon guardians and four Delta warriors patrolling around the hotel all night and not to worry.Aria was just washing her face when a heavy knock pounded on the door. She walked into the lounge room a bit startled but saw Kahlia had left his jacket behind. She picked it up and walked to the door with a silly grin, opening it wide."You would forget your..."
