After a while, I felt the bed dip,he had sat down. I watched as he reached toward my belly. My small baby bump was visible now.

If this were before, when he made me feel so loved, I might have let him touch our child. But right now… I felt nothing but disgust.

“Don’t touch me!” I snapped.

I just want to feel my child,” he replied.

I sighed, torn between anger and the sense that I should reason with him.

Alexander let me be. I promise I’ll stay healthy and give birth to your child. If we get a divorce now, just go be with Kate and leave me alone.
