I like pink

They did the laundry together while fighting and quarreling over everything. He left her to spin the clothes and then proceeded to the bedroom.

"She doesn't know how to cook, she doesn't know how to do the laundry, and I have to teach her a lot of things! Damn, this is crazy!" He lamented as he walked into the room.

After taking his bath, he dressed up in a black long sleeve dress and black pants. He was styling his high fade cut when she walked into the room.

She stopped for a moment as she watched him standing sexily before the mirror, styling his hair. He turned to her direction and she looked away awkwardly.

He smirked as he saw the look on her face and he knew she must be getting carried away by his handsome looks.

"Um.. I'm done spinning the clothes. Where..where are you going?" She asked, walking closer to him.

"I'm heading out of town to get girls," he said and she kept silent and gulped.

"I'm coming with you," she said.

He scoffed and turned to look at her.

"You want to watch me smash all the girls in town?" He asked.

"Yes, I would love to watch it," she said and he shut his eyes for a moment.

"What kind of a lady are you?" He asked and she smiled and walked closer to him.

She inhaled his scent and her smile broadened as she wrapped her hands around his neck while he watched in dismay.

"Wait for me. Don't dare go out without me," she said and flashed a sexy smile across her lips.

He felt burning sensations all over his body as he felt her body only an inch away from him. His eyes got lost in her sexy perfect white eyes and he didn't know how she managed to get his heart racing.

She planted a soft peck on his cheek and his mouth dropped open slowly. He placed his arms around her back and he could feel her hands moving down his back.

He pulled her forcefully to himself and tried to plant a quick kiss on her lips but she pulled away Immediately while giggling like a kid.

He looked away in embarrassment as she moved backwards slowly.

"I've got you, bad boy. Don't leave me behind," she said and he heaved a sigh and licked his lips in disappointment.

"I'll quickly take a shower and come out," she said as she raised her baggy dress, displaying her pink bra. His eyes bulged and she quickly pulled down her dress as she realized the mistake she had made.

"Oh..I..that was a mistake," she defended as she moved backwards towards the bathroom.

" I love such mistakes," he said with a mischievous smile on his lips.

"Stop it, you didn't see anything," she said and he laughed.

"I saw it, it was pink. I love pink," he said, walking towards her.

"No!" She cried as she ran off into the bathroom while he laughed.

He stopped laughing and hit his palm against his head.

"And why am I laughing? Gosh, I need to sneak out before she comes out of the bathroom," he said as he picked up his shoes slowly and tiptoed out of the room.

Rushing to the car, he reached for his belt where he had hung his car key but he couldn't find the key.

"Damn, it was here!" He cried as he touched his pockets several times.

He groaned in frustration and rushed into the house. Stepping into the room, he proceeded to the drawer to search for the key.

"Where could it be?!" He cried after searching for a few minutes.

Just then, he heard her footsteps and his heart sank.

"Oh, not again!" He cried, turning slowly to her as she stepped out of the bathroom.

"What?" She asked with a smirk, walking to the mirror shelf.

"Looking for this?" She asked, raising the key for him to see.

His eyes bulged and he stared at her back in dismay. She turned to face him with a smirk on her face.

"You were planning to run away weren't you?" She asked with a smile.

"Um..I..how did you get it?" He asked immediately.

"Just a little romantic touch and you lost your senses while I took the key," she said mischievously.

"Oh, all that touch was for this? Right?" He asked angrily.

"Hmm…why would I want to get intimate with you in the first place?" She asked with a sigh as she turned back to the mirror.

"Wait for me in the living room. We're both stepping out together," she said in a commanding tone.

"Arghh!" He groaned and stormed out of the room with her laughter trailing after him.

She dressed up in his white t-shirt and black shorts. As she brushed her hair in front of the mirror, she couldn't help but smile, thinking about how tough she's made his life become. She picked up the black face cap on the shelf and wore it over her head.

"No one should recognize me," she said as she heaved a sigh and rubbed her palm over her face.

"Coming out!" She shouted while walking out of the house.

"You know, you need to go easy on my clothes," he said as they both stepped into the car.

She laughed and looked at his face which was as hard as stone.

"Where are you taking me?" She asked.

"None of your business," he replied grumpily as he ignited the car and drove out of the yard.

After cruising around town, they ended up at the Accurate Clubhouse. It was dark when they stepped into the club and the whole place was buzzing with music and people dancing and enjoying the good time.

"You think we can get a table? It's packed up," she complained as she looked around the busy place.

"I have my way around here," he said, bringing his phone from his pocket to make a call.

She stood for a moment, watching him make the call.

"Steve, I'm in the club and the whole place is filled up. I need a table for me and my girl," he said.

Her eyes bulged as she heard those words and she pursed her lips in excitement while feeling butterflies in her tummy.

"Come on, we'll go upstairs," he said as he grabbed her hand and led her through the crowd.

He led her to the VIP section of the club where only a few people were seen, drinking and dancing to music.

"You sure know your way around here," she said with a smile as they both took their seats.

"It's owned by my friend's father," he said, looking at her smiling face.

"You've got friends?" She asked in surprise.

"A lot. Two are currently out of the country and one is in Abuja. I've also got female friends who are married," he said and she smiled and nodded.

"You?" He asked and she sighed and shook her head.

"Not any longer," she replied.

"Why?" He asked with concern.

"Don't wanna talk about it," she said with her eyes tearing up.

"Hey," he called calmly, touching her arms.

She felt her nerves relax as she felt his arms in hers.

"I got betrayed and got cheated on the same night you rescued me," she spilled.

He kept silent for a moment and his heart became saddened as he saw the look on her face. She had always been cheerful and he had never seen her this moody.

"I'm sorry," he said.

She sniffed and nodded.

"She was my best friend and the only friend whom I've got. He was the love of my life, the one whom I planned to marry. I mean, we were already beginning to make the preparations for our wedding," she said with a scoff.

"But then, I caught them that night both cheating on me on the same bed I planned to make my matrimonial bed," she said with a chuckle as she shook her head in disbelief.

"I'm so sorry," he managed to utter as he became filled with pity while staring at her face.

"And then I hit the road with aggression that night. I was actually planning to end it all, I was literally planning for suicide," she related with emotions.

He sighed and licked his lips.

"And you know your actions could have taken the life of an innocent man?" He asked calmly.

"I never thought about that, I was devastated!" She cried with tears flowing down her cheek.

"It's enough," he said, rubbing her shoulders.

She sniffed and kept silent.

"You don't have to end it all, else, they'll win and you'll lose. You have to keep living and show them who the loser is," he said with a smile.

Her face brightened as her eyes looked into his charming round sexy eyes.

"You see, that's why I never wanted to be committed," he said.

"Gist me," she said with interest while placing her hands akimbo.

"Let's make an order," he said and she smiled.

They ordered drinks and her eyes bulged seeing him with a cigarette.

"You smoke?" She asked in surprise and he nodded.

"Care for one?" He asked, pointing a stick of cigarette over to him.

"Nah," she said with disgust as she pushed it away.

He smiled and lit up the cigarette which he began to smoke.

"You haven't told me your story yet," she inquired and he smiled as he puffed out smoke from his mouth.

She swallowed hard, watching him in the act. He looks so sexy when he smokes, she said to herself as she gave him a seductive look.

He scratched the beard on his chin and let out a chuckle.

"I've been in a serious relationship only once. She got pregnant for me and then she aborted the baby. She was not ready to settle down with me because I wasn't fully loaded at that time," he related.

"Hmm," she muttered.

"She left even when I pleaded for her to stay. She was the only woman I ever came to love but then, I realized I was the only one invested in the relationship all those while. She was only playing me for a fool and yes, I was the fool thinking I could get married to her while I didn't even have a job at that time," he said with a smile.

"No, you're not the fool, she never loved you. If she truly loved you, she would have stayed with you. You could have both planned life together," she said and he scoffed.

"We were on campus at that time, we were both young and naive but the truth is that I truly love her and I was ready to settle down and spend the rest of my life with her. It hurt so much when she aborted my child. I was devastated, I was mad, I don't think I wanna have anything to do with a woman all my life. They're all the same, they can't be trusted, I don't want to go through that phase of my life any longer, I don't want to be broken because of a woman," he said with emotions as he looked into her face.

"Same with men, they can't be trusted, they're all cheaters and I don't wanna go through that phase of my life any longer, to be broken because of a man," she said as she took a sip from her drink with her eyes on him.

He chuckled while staring at her face.

"I like you, I like you because you're staunched," he said with a sexy smile that sent her heart melting.

"Hmm, we're both on the same boat," she said as she sipped her drink again and he nodded.

They both kept silent drinking while he scrolled through his phone. He came across a picture of a beautiful girl in a red dress who was looking so much like the girl sitting before him.

"Natasha Steel," he muttered as he gulped his drink.

He became puzzled as he looked at the picture carefully and then he looked at the girl sitting before him.

"You know her?" He asked, pointing the picture at her face.

Her heart flinched on seeing the picture but she forced a smile on her face while trying to maintain her composure.

"Um…no..not really," she said as she swallowed hard immediately.

"She looks so much like you," he said with his eyes still on the picture.

"Hmm, two people can look alike," she said.

"Same skin, same dark hair, same long face.. same eyes..," he continued.

"I don't know her!" She cut in.

He paused and looked at her face intently.

"And who doesn't know Natasha Steel? Mateo's daughter?" He asked.

"Is she that popular?" She asked without interest.

"Her father is popular," he said.

"Ok," she said and continued sipping her drink.

"She's my crush and I'm planning to get her in my bed someday," he said and her eyes bulged.

She coughed and spilled out her drink while he watched her in surprise.

"Oh..um, you're a bad boy," she said, feigning laughter.

"Hmm," he muttered with his eyes on her face.

She looked away nervously as her heart began to race. He is a bastard, she said to herself as she tried to conceal her laughter.

They were still drinking when a girl dressed alluringly in white short net dress walked towards them.

"Hey, boy!" She called with excitement as she walked towards him and threw herself over him.

"Where have you been? Missed you so much at the club. Since Derrick left the country, you haven't visited the club," she said, sitting on his lap with her arms wrapped around his neck.

"Oh, Shelly, you know coming here without the boys has been quite hard on me. Gosh, I've missed you," he cried with his eyes fixed on her cleavages.

"Missed you too," she said as she planted a quick hot kiss on his lips.

"Oh, come on, you need to give it to me like ever before," he said with excitement as he grabbed her bum and pulled her up from his laps.

From where she sat, she watched the scene before her and her heart became heavy.

"Oh, your girl?" She heard the girl ask as they both stood up.

"Um, just a friend," he said without concern, which broke her heart so much.

"Um, come on, let's visit the dancefloor," the girl said with excitement as she grabbed his hands.

"Don't drink too much, I'll be back. Don't be scared, no one's gonna ask you out. You look like a boy," he whispered to her face before rushing out with Shelly.

"I hate him! He's such a clown!" She cried as she gulped her drink angrily.

"What am I doing with him? Why am I even here?!" She cried as she took off her face cap while breathing heavily.

"I'm not supposed to be angry, am I?" She asked, trying to calm her nerves.

Just then, a young handsome man in a blue shirt and black pants walked to the table.

"Hey, are you alone?" He asked.

She gave him an angry look and then she forced a smile on her face as a thought struck her.

"Yes, I'm alone and I need someone to dance with," she said, flashing a sexy smile across her lips.

"To the dance floor, then," he said with a smile as he helped her up from her seat.
