The trip

Dressed casually in a white round-neck top and blue jeans, she stepped out of the house with Alex following behind her.

"Sammy, put this in the car," she said, handing her small black box to the young man in black suit who was standing close to the car.

"I can't believe you're leaving me all alone in this mansion. Adrian asked you to look after baby J and I and now, you're leaving me all because of a man," Alex grumbled with her face wearing a frown.

"Sweetie, it's just a two day trip. We'll be back soon, okay?" She said as she gave her a hug while smiling sheepishly.

"Take good care of my handsome nephew before I return," she said with a smile as she broke free from the hug.

"You better not stay more than the promised days," Alex warned and she laughed.

"I won't. Stay safe, babe," she said as she put on her round-shaped glasses.

She bade Alex goodbye and Alex waved her back while forcing a smile on her grumpy face.
