MAVERICK's POV

(THREE DAYS LATER)

The past three days have been the most awkward in my life.

Luna has always tried avoiding me even though I have no issues seeing her. I mean I get the fact that she is embarrassed and all that, but it has happened.

I was in my room in front of the mirror applying the substance Amelia gave to me on my face.

I was going to face the godfathers and I had to look my best.

I am finally getting exonerated of all the claims made against me. To make everything better I was getting my hotel back. My life is back. Everything I lost.

I heard a knock on my door and I quickly said to come in expecting to see Luna, but it was my sister, Amelia.

"What is it again? Just so you know I am not applying anything else on my face, madam"

She chuckled softly then went down on her knees in front of me.

"I came here to make sure you applied it on your face. Now, let me see"
