"Mia's POV"

I was walking at the exit gate of the school when I saw a high school student showing a public display of affection such as kissing, holding hands, and hugging.

"Hey, go back to your respective classrooms!" I yelled at them, the two got panicked and run through the direction of their own classrooms.

I've been teaching mandarin in highschool for 3 years in my alma mater, I still remember If Alex has time he used to fetch me here and send me home then we will have fun but now I couldn't be able to see him and I can not love him anymore. My heart is still aching whenever I would think of him. It's aching...

My eyes are getting dim, I feel someone's pinching my heart then a tear escaped from my eyes and rolls down through my face.

I keep on crying like a crazy woman while walking out of school, I rush to wipe my tears and try to calm down myself when I saw Kelly's car coming.

The car stops and she opens the window of the car peep at me and says, "Mia, hop in" I obey her and sat on the seat next to her.

I looked at her, she looks different today. It's like she won a ticket lottery because she giggles while she was driving.

"What wrong with you? Is there any good news?" I query then turn on the radio, she glances at me for a while and concentrates her eyes on the road. 

"Yeah, I am grateful!" she thrilled.

Goin' out tonight, changes into something red

Her mother doesn't like that kind of dress

Everything she never had she's showin' off

Drivin' too fast, moon is breakin' through her hair

She's headin' for somethin' that she won't forget

Havin' no regrets is all that she really wants.

-The music is playing-

I frowned and smirk at her, "Are you getting crazy? Last night, you were complaining to me about your ex-boyfriend who pissed you of." I teased her, she didn't bother to answer instead she hummed the song.

We're only gettin' older, baby

And I've been thinkin' about it lately

I stared at the window and watched the trees pass by and open the window a little to feel the fresh breeze of air. It's relaxing and calming.

Chasing it tonight, doubts are runnin' 'round her head

He's waitin', hides behind a cigarette

Heart is beatin' loud and she doesn't want it to stop

Movin' too fast, moon is lightin' up her skin

She's fallin', doesn't even know it yet

"Kelly, where are we going?" I asked her because I notice that it's not my way home.

"I will drop by at XM Alejandrino, I will be meeting Mr. Alejandrino and I want you to come with me. I will treat you later." she happily answered. I suddenly feel embarrassed, the scene that happened at that place came into my mind reminding me not to go.

I was intrigued and asked her again, "what are we going to do there? And why are you meeting Mr. Alejandrino?"

"Whoooa. Ask one question at a time, okay? My answer to your first question and I said I will meet him for business and secondly, I am meeting him to discuss the projects they presented last time to my manager." she explained.

I am convincing myself not to meet the man who kissed me last time and I think I will not be able to see him again it's not like he was the owner or employee of that hotel otherwise I am in a fairytale or some crappy story.

"Did you already sign the contract?" I asked again. 

"Yeah. Aren't you happy for me?" she asked me back.

"I'm happy" I barely answered.

"Then why your reaction is like that?" she uttered.

"Well, I'm just curious about XM Alejandrino. What's so good about this company that your manager let you quickly sign the contract with them?" I told her frankly, she laughed crazily. I just watch her till she stops laughing.

"My goodness, Miss Mirriam Cassandra Smith. Where did you leave your brain? I think you're not on yourself lately, I often saw you dumbfounded. I told you not to watch too many dramas or else your brain might get dull" she sarcastically said, I just remain silent while watching her drive.

I really admire her for being strong, I hope I will become like her. A strong person.

"Do not waste your time thinking of Alex, use your time in developing yourself. Read a lot of books and watch the news. I can't force you to forget him right now, All I can do is to give you a piece of advice. I know you are hurting but you have to ignore your feeling until you feel that they won't hurt anymore. I'm telling you I did not sign the contract without thinking, XM Alejandrino hotel is a reputable company and it is the famous hotel in our country moreover they also the owner of the biggest winery and they transport wines around the globe besides it has a lot of benefits that we can enjoy and I might include you. Apart from this, I heard that the CEO of XM Alejandrino is very hot, handsome, intelligent and... SINGLE" she giggles.

"You forgot one thing, I've heard that the CEO you're talking about is also ruthless" I proudly added and smiled widely to her, she snob at me.

"He has many good qualities but you only remembered his bad side, you're ruthless too," she whispered. "Oh, If you ever see him I warned you to not drool over him" she reminded.

"Oh," I casually told her.

A little longer later, we arrived at the XM Alejandrino hotel. We get off the car and walk inside the hotel, the staff welcomed us and lead our way to the conference room.

We reached the conference room, we saw a man in a mid-forties was standing at the corner of the mirror glass waiting for us. He greeted us and told us to wait for a while, Kelly is smiling while waiting patiently. At first, I thought the man in mid-forties is Mr. Alejandrino so I just can't help myself but secretly laugh at Kelly's imagination however my conclusion was all wrong when the big door of this room opens broadly. 

Six tall men wearing a black suit came in and form a line on each side, the two men appear and come in. I can clearly see them from afar, the one is wearing a gray suit and the other is wearing a maroon suit but they both look very familiar.

They both came near to us until I realized that I know these two gentlemen, I glance at Kelly but the smile on her face fades from the moment she saw them, her hands are shaking and she's sweating.

What's wrong with her? I thought she's been looking forward to meeting him but when she saw him, she's like she saw a dead waking up from a grave.

I poke her arms, she came back from her senses and forcedly smiled at these two gentlemen.

"Sky's POV"

It was all my plan to let Kelly sign the contract for us, I just forced my friend Xavier to agree on my plan. I realized that I wanted Kelly back.

I was nervous when we come into the conference room, I thought she would yell or get angry at me but she acted like a lady, she remains calm and showing us her angelic smile. She is really professional, she didn't mix personal matters into a business.

"Good morning Mr. Alejandrino! It's my pleasure to meet you." she shyly said, Xavier looks at Mia and she smiles at him.

"Good morning Ms. Clarkson, my pleasure to meet you too. Take a seat" they both sat on the sofa, Xavier started discussing the contract about both parties while I was watching Mia the whole time, every move she makes I noticed even the movement of her eyebrows.

We were in the middle of a conversation until Julia came, wearing only a white robe and a slipper. She looks like she just got finished taking a bath. 

"Hi, honey!" Julia shouted at Xavier, everyone inside the room looks at her. Xavier and I stand, "what is she doing here?" he asked me, "I don't know" I replied.

Julia smiled seductively at him, she pulled the rope off her robe and showed her body trying to seduce Xavier. He covers his eyes due to embarrassment and told the guards to pulled Julia out of the hotel.

"Wait, don't touch me. Why are you doing this to me, honey?" she exclaimed.

Kelly and Mia stand, they both wanted to leave the room because of the tension but Julia shouted and pointed Mia.

"Hey! You, what are you doing here? Are you still planning to steal my boyfriend from me? You did not learn last time that I slapped you on the bar? she asked angrily.

"What are you saying?" she asked innocently.

"Wow! What a great pretender?! You kissed my boyfriend last time, remember?" she sarcastically answered her. Mia looks shocked and confused after knowing that the man who kissed him is Xavier.

"You mean he...?" she stuttered.

"Enough, Julia!" Xavier shouted, he looks at Mia apologetically.
