Knowing that Laura was about to expose my hidden agenda before Everleigh made me rush from my room to first find Everleigh.

While I left in search of Ever, I warned the security men at the gate to ensure they threw Laura out.

I know Laura. She would destroy the gates if they refused her in. I could hear her make a fuss from the gate already.
