PROLOGUE

|Ciela Luna’s POV|

I was walking gracefully at the venue of my friend's wedding today wearing my emerald green gown. I'm one of her bridesmaids together with our other friends who seems to be late again, Hays! Lagi nalang!

It's a garden wedding and it's very beautiful! This has always been my dream wedding but I guess it will be all just a dream.

I craned my neck once again to look for the other bridesmaids at agad akong napangiti nang makita silang nagmamadaling maglakad papunta sa direksyon ko.

"Always been late," puna ko nang makatayo sila sa harap ko.

Rose scoffs at me.

"We're sorry okay! Jennie’s fault!" sagot niya.

Napailing nalang din ako.

Lima kaming magkakaibigan, Ako, Jisoo, Rose, Jennie at ang ikakasal naming kaibigan na si Lisa sa kanyang boyfriend na si Jae, half korean din. Jung Jae-in. Jae is a nice guy at aaminin ko ilang beses ko pa lamang siyang nakasama dahil sa sobrang busy akong tao, at hindi rin gusto ng boyfriend ko na nakikisalamuha ako sa ibang mga lalaki, so in short I don't have male friends.

"Wow, Jae looks dashing today," maarteng sabi ni Jennie.

We we're waiting for Lisa's arrival that's why nandito pa kaming lahat sa labas. Ngayon nga ay nakatingin kami kay Jae at sa mga kasama niyang lalaki na sa tingin namin ay mga kaibigan niya.

"I never knew he has a lot of hot friends huh." Jisoo told us, kaya naman naagaw nito ang atensyon namin at napatingin din sa direksyon ng mga groom's men at totoo ngang mga magagandang lalaki din ang mga kaibigan ni Jae. All of them were tall and handsome just like him, the groom himself was laughing with his friends, but one guy caught my eyes. This one rarely smiles and he seems cold because he wasn’t executing reactions at all. He was wearing a grey suit with white shirt inside, his dark locks are parted in half which made him look harshly handsome, his hawk-like eyes are captivating, even his thin cherry red lips. I've never seen someone as gorgeous as him for a man, well I do have a boyfriend and para sa akin ay siya lang ang pinaka gwapo sa mata ko but this guy is beyond exceptional. I panicked when his eyes met mine for a second. I immediately look away, fucking shit he just caught me checking him out!

My gosh that was embarrassing! Halos mapamura ako sa aking sarili.

"Omg here she is!" Jennie exclaimed while pointing at Lisa wearing her extravagant wedding dress.

My eyes got teary just a view of her, sobrang happy ako for her. She always dreamt of this moment and now she's actually living her dreams.

Marrying the love of her life.

I glanced at Jae’s reaction and saw him smiling in tears, they were so in love which is pretty obvious in their eyes. Aww.

Nakita ko rin na medyo naluluha na ang mga kaibigan ko sa tabi ko while Lisa was walking down the aisle to meet Jae at the far end.

"I wish to find a love like theirs." bulong sa akin ni Rose habang pinupunasan ang luha niya.

I chuckled at her.

"Likewise, Rose. Likewise." sabi ko naman habang nangingiti rin at pumapalakpak.

"Oh it will happen to you, Jackson is a pretty nice guy. I mean, yes he's a bit controlling but I can see that it is just because he loves you so much." nakangiti niyang sabi.

I just shrugged it off.

Natapos ang wedding at nagdiretso na nga kami sa wedding reception, everybody was joyful and whispering the newly weds their goodlucks and best wishes.

"Girlllssss!" Lisa exclaimed when she got a time to sit with us on our table.

"Congratulations bitch! I hope you bang him well later on your honeymoon." Rose apprised her while kissing her cheeks.

Napailing nalang ako sa mga kalokohan nila.

"Of course Rose, I won't let you down. I learnt from the best mentors." Lisa answered jokingly before winking at her.

"Congratulations sissy, I'm so happy for you." Jisoo smiled and hugged her.

"Congratulations Lis! Please gumawa na kayo agad ng baby girl so I can have someone to join me in my shoppings!" Jennie commented at natawa rin kami. Kahit kailan talaga ay napaka sassy.

And then I hugged her last. She was my bestfriend and I'm really happy for her.

"Congrats Lili, I love you so much. I am the happiest woman now that you've finally married the guy you love." I told her lovingly.

"I hope you and Jackson are next in line." she said smiling but I just shrugged my shoulders at her.

"My god Lis, are those really your husband's friends? Baka naman may mairereto ka diyan?" pagbibiro ni Rose.

Nanlaki naman ang mata ni Lisa at agad kaming pinatayo upang ipakilala sa mga ito. Tumanggi ako because obviously I don't need one. I already had a boyfriend, but Rose didn't stop from pulling me out of my chair.

Of course, my heart was hammering inside my chest at the thought of the handsome guy I met eyes a few hours ago. My hands are cold because of the nervosity I'm feeling inside.

The groom hugged each one of us as we congratulated him one by one.

"It's nice to see you again Ciela Luna, my wife is so delighted to see you made time for our wedding knowing how busy you are." Jae whispers in my ear as I hug him.

I smiled and tapped his shoulders.

"I'll always make time for the both of you. Please take care of our Lili, Jae. Though, I’m pretty sure now that she's in good hands."

He nod and smiled at me saka kami hinila upang ipakilala sa mga kaibigan niya.

"Gentlemen these gorgeous ladies are my wife's bestfriends, and ladies please meet my lifetime buddies." Jae casually said while smiling at us.

Lahat kami ay ngumiti at nakipag kamay sa bawat isa. Hindi nakatakas sa akin ang guwapong lalaki na ngayon ay nakataas ang kilay at pilit na nakangiti sa amin.

"Ladies I want you to meet my bestfriend and best man Jonathan Kim with his wife Mayor Megan, and their cousin Mark Tuan." pakilala ni Jae at lahat kami ay nakipagkamay.

"Pleased to meet you Sir and Madam Mayor, Attorney." I smiled as I shook hands with them respectfully when it’s my turn to greet them.

"And this is Agustus Min he's a music producer, this is Justin Jeon he's a singer and professional videographer, and here is our charming Christian Park, he's a Restaurateur he owns and manages several restaurants downtown." Jae continued and again we shook hands with the guys.

"And these two are Jonathan’s brother, the oldest, Jin Kim, and the youngest of Kim's siblings, Mr. Ivan Kim. The Kim line is known to be royals in being hoteliers, so technically they owned a lot of hotels in different areas here in the Philippines and in different countries." Jae continued and smiled at us.

I'm smiling at them as I shake hands with the brothers but my eyes are fixed to the youngest Kim, siya yung gwapo na tinutukoy ko. And now I already know his name.

Ivan Kim.

His eyes were pretty intense as they locked with mine, my heart beat painfully fast as I shook hands with him, and I felt something jolt in me when my hands met his.

"Nice to meet you." magalang kong sabi.

But he just smiled a bit and looked away. His snob eyes are so pleasant in my sight.

A typical snob.

I smiled at myself, Ciela Luna typings.

"Anyway, since you ladies are Lisa's bestfriends and we are the grooms bestfriends might as well na magsama sama na lamang tayo sa isang table to get to know each other 'no? How about that?" Mayor Megan suggested, smiling.

And of course ang mga kaibigan kong sabik sa gwapong mga lalaki ay hindi tumatanggi sa biyaya so they all agreed without asking me.

Hays. Great.

We all sat in our chairs at kaharap ko yung Ivan Kim, beside him was his brother Jin Kim who always smiles at everyone, just like Jae. He jokes all the time and I find it surprisingly funny. I mean I don't happen to appreciate any male existence aside from my boyfriend so this was all new to me. Sa gilid ko ay si Rose at sa kabilang gilid ko naman ay si.. nilingon ko ang lalaki sa gilid ko at ganun din siya, ngumiti siya sa akin, sino nga ba ito?

"Hi, what was your name again? You can call me Christian. Pleased to meet you." he said, flashing his beautiful smile and a wink.

Right, the Restaurateur.

"Hello, I'm Ciela Luna, just Ciel."

He smiled widely showing his perfect pearl white set of teeth, and I was in awe. Gosh, how come every man sitting here at this table is so gorgeous?

"Wow, such a nice name, a deadly combination of sky and moon," he said.

I raise a brow at him.

"Oh sorry, I'm a huge fan of heavenly bodies," he said again, smiling widely.

My eyes narrowed with what he just said to me.

Heavenly bodies..

Ako lang ba o may sa malandi ‘tong lalaking to? Tsk.

Usually I'm really pissed when a guy's kinda flirty but this man was extra exceptional maybe because of his overflowing charm so that being a flirt really fits him well.

I felt my cheeks slightly burn at his lowkey compliments, I nervously chuckled and look down and bit my lip.

"So what do you do in life, Ciel?" he asks in a whisper, full attention in me while sipping on his drink.

I look up again to see his face, my god this guy really be flirting with me as he continues to smile which causes his eyes to form into little crescent moons and the way he keeps on moisting, licking and biting down his pink plumpy lips are very mind disturbing!

I cleared my throat as I answered him firmly, not showing any signs of his effects on me.

"I'm a Digital Marketing specialist in a small growing Korean company." I answered truthfully.

“Korean company?” he asked and I nodded.

“My dad is Korean, which made me a halfie,” I smiled.

He smiled and nodded, and unknowingly ran his thumb on his lips as if thinking deeply.

"Oh, I see. So, your company helps to boost and promote businesses on social media platforms, am I right?" he asks again.

I nod in response.

"But not just in social media, there are different types of digital marketing, we also reach out through Email Marketing, SEO, Content Marketing, etc." I answered smiling, not showing any signs of nervousness.

He nods showing that he's all ears on me.

"Oh my goodness Ciel, still working even on my wedding?!" ani Lisa nang madaanan niya kami at sa tingin ko ay narinig niya ang pinag uusapan namin ni Christian.

I frowned at her, and I heard Christian chuckling.

"I'm sorry about this work freak, Christian. She literally lives inside her company, that's why." she pointed out at Christian, but Christian shook his head and smiled at me.

"No Lis, I was just asking her about her job. We were just trying to get to know each other here, don't worry." Christian explained and Lisa nodded and narrowed her eyes on me.

"I'm watching you, my god Luna have some fun, forget your stressful work and strict boyfriend just for once!" she said, stressing herself on me before walking out.

Napailing nalang ako sa komento niya about kay Jackson, well she honestly told me countless times that she didn't really like how Jackson controls my life. I can't blame her since it's me she should blame for my boyfriend's actions.

Now I don't know how to relive the conversation between Christian and me.

"So you're a work freak?" he asks chuckling.

I sighed and had a sip on my drink. I roamed my eyes to look for my friends but they were all busy chit chatting with other guys. Apparently, I'm not that fond of talking about my "work-freak-ass" but I glanced again at Christian and he smiled softly.

I sighed.

"I mean what's the problem about being serious at work? Is it wrong now to be dedicated? I mean my company pays me well so I guess it's just right to work hard in return." I asked silently.

He smiled and looked away, again running his thumb on his lips.

"Yeah you’re right. There’s nothing wrong about being dedicated and loving your work, but I think when you already come to the point where you forget that you still have a life outside is a bit concerning, I guess." he said softly biting down his lips.

I scratch my brows and look down.

"Well I'm striving to have a better life, that's why I'm working hard." I honestly said.

He chuckled while watching my tensed expression.

"You're still young to think about that, Ciela. Lisa is right, tone down being a work freak and have some life." he said while offering me convincing smiles.

"Did I just hear a work freak here? We have another work freak aside from Ivan?" Jonathan asks alongside with the groom Jae nang madaan sila sa gilid namin ni Christian.

And just as he heard his name, Ivan Kim glanced our way and raised his brows. His chocolate brown eyes met mine and I gulped at that.

I nervously moved my eyes to Christian.

Damn, I can't even stand those gazes.

Great. Now we have his attention. Dammit.

"Oh no, hyung. We were just talking about her work, nothing serious." Christian explained to Jonathan.

Jae raises his eyebrows at me, napailing na lamang ako. Shit. Mag asawa nga sila ni Lisa.

"Oh really? Okay." Jonathan then smiled at me showing his two deep dimples.

Gosh, even his brother is breath-taking as well. They had the best genes. Mayor Megan was lucky to have this guy, huh.

Jae then tapped his shoulders.

"Since we were talking about her work, wasn’t Ivan looking for a Digital Marketing company for his newly constructed business? Our girl Ciela here is a digital marketing specialist, for your information." Jae suggested and my eyes widened at him, but he just winked at me.

Talagang kakatayin ako ni Lisa if she heard that I'm working on her wedding day!

Well it's not my fault though, her husband was to blame! I scratch my eyebrows at my silent frustration.

"Oh really, Ciela? My, my, my. Maybe you can help my work freak brother Ivan to boost his dying business." Jonathan joked and I laughed nervously, not because of the work issues but because of the repeated mention of Ivan’s name.

Goodness gracious.

"Ivan! Mind to come over here for a minute my dear brother." Jonathan called his brother, and the latter stood up with a serious face, he was currently talking to another group of men when his brother called him so with a glass of drink in his hand he politely excused himself from the group and walked towards us gracefully.

My god, even his walk was graceful and elegant, how does this beautiful man exist in this cruel world?

I nervously held my wine flute as I watched him walking towards us, and when he came into our sight, I felt like I'm going to stumble in his killer look.

He eyed Jonathan, Jae and me with a very serious face. His face was blank and emotionless. This man was intimidating higit pa sa inaakala ko. I can't even stand well in his presence.

Jae cleared his throat.

"Ivan, again this is Ms. Ciela Luna Young and we heard that one of your companies was looking for a Digital Marketing specialist? Well, I proudly suggest to you our dearest Ciela Luna here, she came from a successful company and she works as a digital marketing specialist." Jae explained smiling, but the man was still in his blank expression with his eyes staring down at me.

I gulped in nervousness as I stared at him. I bowed my head in a respectful way and tried to give my best smile.

"Hello again. I know this isn't the right place and time to talk about work, but I'm glad to say that me and my company are willing to assist your business if given a chance... Sir." I said as I smiled confidently.

Again, he doesn't show any kind of emotion. He just stared at me.

Jonathan then took the turn.

"What do you think, Ivan?" he asks.

We were all just looking at him, even Christina seemed nervous beside me as we anticipated his words to come.

He rolled out his tongue to wet down his lips before releasing a polite smile.

"Thank you for referring, Jae hyung. However, I believe my secretary has already taken care of that matter." he said in a very deep voice as he looked at me and sipped on his drink.

I gulp and look down in embarrassment because of the low key rejection I received from him. The men were silent beside me as well.

"But thank you for offering Ms. Young, I appreciate it. Anyway, please excuse me. I have something important to talk to Attorney Tuan." he said and exited himself again gracefully.

I nodded my head in response and smiled hesitantly.

"Sorry about that Ciel," Jae said in a regretful tone.

But I just smiled at him,

"No worries, Jae. This is what business was all about, it's not as if he's the only client left in this world." I said in a cheerful tone gulping down the disappointment that's boiling inside of me.

Jonathan nodded and smiled at me.

"Speaking of clients, don't forget that I also own various restaurants in town. Meaning, I can be your potential client, am I right?" Christian utter as he winked at me.

I chuckled at his encouraging words.

"Oh! Oo nga pala!" Jae grins at his idea and taps Christian’s shoulders.

I smiled at their bonding. I’m glad that Jae was surrounded with great friends, they won't be Lisa's headache that's for sure.

"Maybe we can talk about that in the after party later, Ciel?" Christian told me as a grin still plastered on his lips.

"After party?" I ask without having any clue of it.

Jonathan and Jae bid their goodbyes and I waved my hands at them. Christian and I took our seats again.

"Well Lisa and Jae were throwing an after party later at The Penthouse, aren't you aware of that?" he asks, crossing his arms against his chest.

"Well, I kinda heard it from the ladies but I'm not really aware of that."

"You should come," Christian encouraged me.

I smiled hesitantly and looked down and bit my lower lip.

"Oh, I see. Here comes the issue with your strict boyfriend." he concluded as he raised his brow at me.

I sighed.

He chuckled and licked his lips and looked away.

"You see, he's not that strict, you know. He's studying law that's why I guess it comes out in him naturally." I defended.

He scoffs a laugh, and my brows furrowed.

"No offence, Ciela. But him being serious in life doesn't mean he'll drag you into a complete unenjoyable life as well. You have your own life to run and it will always be yours to decide. I personally don't know you and your relationship with him, and I'm not the type of person who sticks my nose in someone else's life but witnessing your friend's reactions, I guess you are completely lost, you won't have your own life if you continue asking for his approval." he commented softly.

I get it that he doesn't want to be so straightforward about giving comments regarding my personal life, because obviously we had just met, but hearing words like this coming from a certain stranger strikes directly to my heart. Sabi nga nila it's better to talk to strangers because they won't judge you.

I look down as I fidget my hands on my lap.

"I guess it's me to blame. I let him do whatever he wants to do with my life." I said in an almost whisper.

I felt his hands on my shoulder so I peek at him. I almost shivered at the coldness of his rings around his fingers, and I met his soft gaze.

"How about you forget everything tonight and just be yourself?" he said in a very soft tone and a sparkle glimmered in his hazelnut brown eyes.

I gulped down and stared at his eyes, I don't know if this is right but for the first time in my life I felt the courage to run my own life, just his soft looks gives me enough courage to just be myself and decide for me. For the first time in my life I felt alive. And with that I smiled at him..

"How?" I almost felt the shiver down my spine when he slowly smiled at me.

Christian’s POV

"Wohoooooooooooo!!!" I almost laugh when I heard you screaming and jumping from happiness, you were vibing with the loud booming music and its very pleasant in my eyes.

Your other friends and Lisa keep on thanking me for encouraging you to come to this after-party, and I just shrug my shoulders in response. I mean it's a pleasure for me to shake your stiff beliefs for once.

"This is the life I'm talking about!!!" you added and your friends cheered as you clink your glass towards their glass and you gulp down your drink. I don't think you planned on being wasted tonight but I'm glad and willing to take care of you if something bad happens.

"Oh my god, I don't know how to thank you for bringing her here, Christian but you do earn my respect!!" Rose said while dancing and I just chuckled and peeked at you.

You're such a gorgeous woman and to know that you're being mishandled by a man is bringing so much pain in my head. You're cute and smart at the same time, ever since I set my eyes on you from the church down to the reception and even here, my heart keeps on beating in an indescribable way but not in a romantic way. You are such a fine woman. That's why I didn't waste any time trying to talk to you. You remind me a lot of Ivan Kim, my best friend, from the way you talk and move. Suddenly, I felt intrigued by you and your life.

Did I really do something miraculous for them to thank me thousand times for bringing you here? Tsk.

What is it with you that makes me want to dig into your personal life? Hmm.

Ivan Kim’s POV

My mind was clouded because of a fucking problem yet here I am in this open roof bar, having a drink with these motherfuckers. Today is Jae hyung's wedding to his girlfriend Lisa, and I'm happy for them. I really do, it’s just that I can’t be fully happy because of these problems.

My secretary just informed me that one of my new hotels in the South will be delaying its construction because of the legal proceedings regarding sa mga bahay na matatamaan. The locals went mad and started getting violent which harmed the demolition team. They weren't in favor of their new relocation though the local government itself made it clear that they were actually occupying the place illegally. I was kind enough to give them a better relocation when in fact it shouldn’t be my problem to think with.

I wanted to tell this fucking news to my brothers but right now everyone's having fun. I also wanted to tell this to Christian, my best friend, but the motherfucker was nowhere to be found. I heard from Jae that he's busy all day with that girl he just met earlier. Lisa's best friend if I'm not mistaken.

My brows furrowed when my problem hit me again. I ran a hand through my hair and sighed.

"Oh loosen up, Ivan. You look way more stressed than you already are." Megan told me yet I remained a straight face.

"Am I?" I ask seriously.

And she scoffs a laugh.

"That was a joke, Ivan, but really you looked stressed. Care to share with your Noona?" she asks as she moves her chair towards me.

She was a nice sister-in-law to me, and I'm really glad that Jonathan hyung found someone like her in his lifetime.

I smiled a bit and shook my head.

"Nothing Noona, I'm fine." I said in a monotone but she just stared at me.

"You really need to have an inspiration in life, Ivan. You're still young to carry out these problems alone on your shoulder, enjoy life and have some fun." she advised.

But I just scoffed and looked away. Knowing very well where this conversation is heading to. Tsk.

There's no way I'm settling down in my lifetime. I don't believe in forever and love, for me it just happens in fairy tales. I'm not fond of those shits even though there's a living proof in front of me.

Ever since my parents chose to live separately abroad I made a promise to myself that I won’t believe in love anymore. I will never ever believe in marriage. I will never ever let myself get into that nonsense thing.

"Oh, not this time again, Noona." I sighed in disapproval.

"It's funny for someone like you who doesn't believe in marriage is here and sharing the happiest moment of a newly wed couple." she commented and raised her brows at me.

"I'm just supporting my friend in his delusional dreams just like how I supported you and Jonathan hyung, Mayor." I snorted.

But she just hissed at my words.

"It's not an illusion, Ivan. Someday, I know you'll find your own dream girl and marry her for love, believe me." she concluded and I snickered at her thoughts.

“Really? Then go away and find one for me then, marry us right away, Mayor. By the power of your beloved cousin Attorney Tuan, find me my dream wife." I mockingly said, shoving her away from me.

"Don't try to test me, Mr. Ivan Kim." she warns but smiles after and I shake my head as I sip on my whiskey.

God, these people are insane for that shit called love. Tsk. What a pity.

Lumipas ang oras at lumalim ang gabi. Everybody was wasted and drunk, kahit ako'y tinamaan na din ng alak but I can still manage to drive home for sure. I stood up and I'm surprised by the sudden wave of dizziness I felt inside my head but I managed to walk inside the men's comfort room.

I was busy struggling at my pants to free my member down there to pee when noises coming from a woman rang my ears. My eyes are a bit blurred but I vividly saw her coming inside, walking like a zombie and shoving every man coming out from the toilet.

"Make way for me, naiihi na ako! Get out you jerks!" she mumbled.

I stood straight, turning my neck in her direction. I called her out.

"Hey you, you're not allowed here, this is a men's toilet for your information." I mumbled also but loud enough for her to hear me.

"Oh really? I guess it's obvious, witnessing how massi- masculine you are down there. But you know what, I don't care, naiihi na ako eh." you rudely told me when you shamelessly looked at me down and I immediately turned around to hide and I heard you shut the cubicle's door.

I shook my head in disbelief at your boldness.

I finished and steady myself cause my visions are really blurred and my head is spinning already. Damn this hard liquor! I can't remember the last time I got drunk like this.

Again, I was disturbed by your presence when you came out of that cubicle whimpering due to your heels.

"My god, ang s-shaket na ng p-paa ko! F-fucking high heels!" you whimpered as you stumbled on your feet trying to remove your heels to free your aching feet.

I can't help but watch you at natawa ako sa itsura mo.

You really look wasted and drunk, your cheeks flushed in bright red and your hair is pretty dishevelled, the strap of your dress keeps on falling off from your shoulder due to your unsteady movements, but regardless of that you still look beautiful.

"F-Fucking high heels!" you violently shook your feet trying to remove your shoes.

Hindi na ako nakatiis at nilapitan ka kahit na nga medyo nahihilo rin ako ay hindi ko naman nakakalimutan maging gentleman.

"Hey, hey, hey." I called you as I held your arms and steadied you for a moment.

And the moment I saw your face this close I felt something inside me, you looked intoxicated and wasted and I smiled at your look.

You’re still gorgeous despite your drunken state.

"W-Who are you? Oh! Mr. H-Hotelier?!" you asked drunk while smiling like an idiot.

Good thing you're still conscious.

"Steady yourself and I'll help you remove your shoes, okay?" I ask respectfully and you nod, eyes shut and you really looked exhausted.

You should fucking thank me I'm the one who found you here, kung iba lang ang naabutan mo dito they'll be taking advantage of you in your kind of state right now? Hays.

I knelt down and reached for your feet. I got slightly distracted by your legs which is displayed right in front of my eyes. Your caramel smooth skin is showing due to your movements but I manage to look away, god damn this woman!

When I reached your feet I carefully removed your shoes and you sighed in relief.

"That feels so fucking goooooood!" you exclaimed and my eyes grew wide at the sound of your fucking voice.

Dammit, I relaxed and convinced myself that you’re just drunk and you didn’t mean to produce such sounds. God damn it!

I perked up to see your face but then your eyes were shut. I hissed and shook my head in disbelief. I quickly took your shoes and stood up.

You smiled weirdly while keeping a straight gaze on me. Suddenly you smiled which sent creeps in me.

“Y-You’re so fucking handsome. D-Do I know you?” you mumbled and I pressed my lips together, ignoring the heat on my cheeks.

Fuck.

Lasing ka na nga talaga. Tsk.

"Christian? As in Christian Park?" I ask in assurance of what I heard from your mouth.

You nod and again you smile like a weirdo.

"But I love it! I owe him big time! T-This is the best day of my f-fucking life!!!" you screamed and you jumped which caused you to stumble, luckily my reflexes were fast and I caught you before you slammed your head onto the floor.

I sighed as I held you into my arms, I gulped when I heard you giggling in my chest, your eyes are shut and your cherry red lips are in a pout.

I gulped as I looked away.

Fucking Christian Park, he just drove you with his charms.

I bent my knees and lifted your body as I hurled you on to my shoulders, you look like a lifeless meat on my shoulder now. I hissed and shook my head.

I can't believe I'm taking care of a drunk woman at this fucking party!

“H-Hey! P-Put me down!” you whined while wiggling your body but I ignored your words.

I got out of the toilet and searched for that prick Christian only to find him sitting at our table, he's laughing with Lisa and Jae now. I walked towards them while carrying you like a sack of rice on my shoulders, you're not that heavy but you're noisy, you keep on mumbling things I can't even comprehend and it hurts my ears.

"Omg, Cielaaa! What the fuck!" Lisa exclaimed when she saw you on my shoulder.

Christian laughs at your state and to my surprise you laugh at him too as you playfully hit his shoulders while mumbling words I can't even understand. I carefully put you down on the sofa and sat beside you.

"How did you find her, Ivan?" Jae asks while chugging down his beer.

"That woman invaded the men's toilet." I silently answered and massaged my shoulders.

Christian laughed at what he heard.

"Oh my God, Ciela. You're living your life to the extent of invading a men's toilet?! God damn it, woman!" he laughed at you.

I raised my brow at the both of you. You seemed close to each other already.

“Oh! Ch-Chris you won’t believe what I j-just saw earlier! I s-saw that hot Mr. Hotelier in the toilet!” you stumbled while talking to my bestfriend.

Before you could even finish your words Christian shut your mouth with his palm.

“Damn woman!” Jimin hissed and as you tried to push his hands away.

Lisa and Jae are now laughing hard too, and it's too late before I realise that I'm also smiling when I realize what you’re about to say.

A proud smirk wayed up on my lips.

You grab a mug of beer and raised it in the air like a fucking weirdo but you're the kind of weirdo I can't keep my eyes off.

"Cheers for Lisa and Jae’s true love!" you yelled and everyone cheered with you.

I snorted and shook my head in disbelief upon hearing your words.

"True love, my ass." I said and I thought my voice was low enough but I guess you heard me because you glance my way.

You put down the glass and move your body as you lean into me.

"If it isn't the hot snob here beside me." you said in a mocking way.

I rolled my eyes.

"First you rejected my offer and now you're rejecting the idea of true love? My gosh how lonely you must be!!" you said as you hit Christian’s arms and you both laughed at me.

"Forgive him, he's a work freak like you and he doesn't believe in love and marriage, he's just like a lost soul too." Christian told you while laughing.

You eyed me in disbelief but still you manage to laugh at me.

"Oh another lost soul just like me, now I understand why you're being like that! We're just the same, we're both lost, and that's how we're meant to meet!" you concluded in between your laugh, you're joking but I saw the glint of sadness in your eyes as they reflect mine in your words.

I thought I'd get insulted but I just found you more interesting and cute. You talked like a zombie because of how intoxicated you are, but nonetheless you're still that clever woman I met a few hours ago.

"I guess we're meant to be, oops don't reject me this time." you said trying to sound flirty but it came out way more cuter from your mouth and I can't help but to smile so I chug down my beer to hide it.

"You keep on mumbling about my rejection. Tell me how I can make it up to you?" I ask, trying to get along with your cheekiness.

You and Christian laugh as well as Lisa and Hobi, Mark Tuan comes out from the dancefloor together with Jonathan and Megan. Suddenly, everyone was slowly gathering up.

You leaned in and I almost flinched when I saw your face just inches away from mine but I didn't move. Instead I stared at your beautiful face, your bambi brown eyes looking at me, trying to stay focused, and you smiled.

"H-How about you started to believe in love and marriage just for tonight? Just like me, f-free yourself from this cruel world, just for one night." you said in an almost whisper but enough for me to hear you.

"Ikasal na yan! Ikasal na yan!" Megan and Jonathan started chanting as they overheard what you said and I rolled my eyes at them.

"C'mon man! Be yourself tonight! You heard the woman, loosen up." Christian followed as he tapped my shoulder.

I looked at everybody and they're all cheering for me, for you, for us. I don't know how it all ended up like this but this is getting interesting.

"Fine! Just for this fucking night." I told them and everybody cheered. I gape at you once again, only to find you smiling down at me with those soft eyes.

I even saw Megan smirking at me. The heck.

"How about we pretend to marry you both?! Right, Mark, bring me some paper! Quick!" Megan shouts and laughs.

They are obviously drunk, I mean all of us are drunk but who cares right?!

Mark bring out some fucking papers and I really don't care where he get that, my eyes are fixed in you, in your brown eyes that seems drowning me into it while you’re smiling at me dearly, they keep on pushing you to be near me, they keep on chanting the words, "ikasal na yan."

Yet, I just smiled at their craziness, goddamn these people. Megan stood up with Mark beside her acting like a witness as they are all engrossed in this so-called wedding of you and me.

I bite my lips to stop myself from laughing.

"By the power bestowed upon me, I myself, Mayor Megan Kim, pronounce you as husband and wife! On this day, what the fuck is the date today? oh it's 2am so it's technically February 18, 2016. Motherfucker Ivan Kim, you may now kiss your bride." she announced and all I heard was the loud cheering from our friends.

"Mrs. Kim, you may sign it here." Mark asks you in between his laughs and you also laugh at his craziness. I shook my head at the sight.

You and Christian yelled in unison as if you're best friends for a long time.

"Forget the fucking world and let's be ourselves tonight!" you screamed and with that you held the pen and signed the fucking papers I don't even know what's written on it, I don't even know where Mark get that fucking paper but I don't mind at all.

You put down the pen and hugged Lisa and Christian like they're your fucking bff's.

I scoffed at the scene.

"I'm fucking marrieeeeeeeed!" you screamed.

Christian screamed with you.

"Yeah you married my loser bestfriend, Congratulations!" he mocks and you just both laugh.

"Your turn, asshole." Mark then handed me the pen and I signed it right away without having second thoughts and without reading it. I just want this foolishness to end.

"You may now kiss the brideeeee!" Megan yelled.

And we both stare at each other. You smiled at me, Christian took your hand and brought it to my neck, you clung your arms onto my shoulder as you stared at me. And again I'm so lost at your beauty, your bambi brown eyes are captivating and I felt like I'm so lost in it.

Then I think maybe you are right, maybe we're just the same, maybe we're just like two lost souls who happens to meet in this fucking wedding, and maybe you are right, that there's nothing wrong about choosing ourselves just for tonight as we forget the cruel world.

I slowly lifted my hands and touched your face, your lips hung half open the moment you felt my touch. I caressed it with pure care and slowly I tilted my head and I watched you close your eyes as we both waited for our lips to connect.

I knew I wasn't wrong when I told myself that this kiss, is the kiss of a lifetime. I never knew I could dream of someone like you until suddenly......
