LIA'S POV

"Nag my son, make he fall in love with you. Teach him that love can change everything."

"What?"

At first i thought, this is crazy. She was asking me not to leave, but to stay and make a total stranger fall in love with me.

And then what?

"I'm sorry, mrs Athena, but I'm not sure i can do that. I don't even know Mr. Brex like that, and..."

"You accepted to fake date him to fool me. I'm not going to blackmail you, even though it is a move very well within my cards."

"However, I'm imploring you to. He is a good man after all, he just needs a little patience, and a strong willed person."

She looked at me as if i embodied literally everything she had just described.

But how could i tell her i did not? I may have been stubborn and a little ambitious but i was definitely not strong.

Had i been so strong willed and intelligent, my parents would not have died, and little Reign would not have come into this world unprepared.
