DINNER WITH HIM

Previous Chapter…

“How dare you sit on my motorcycle,” the girl retorted, making Ellen angry.

“Get out of my car.” Ellen murmured quietly, and everyone laughed.

“This is our car; how dare you tell us it's yours,” the boy exclaimed, and Ellen burst out laughing.

“Oh, are you sure?” Ellen queried with a…

Continuation…

“Oh, are you sure?” Ellen queried with a grim face and that makes the people around her shiver.

“What's wrong?” Ellen said, still putting on a grim face.

“I-if it i-is y-yours, do you h-have proof?” the girl asked, and Ellen merely smirked and approached her.

“Oh, are you challenging me, hmm?” Ellen asked, and the girl blushed like a tomato.

'G*sh, how can she be so hot? No, no, I'm straight, right?' I also have a boyfriend,' The girl reasoned.

“You look like a tomato now. Is it because you like me?” Ellen asked, and the girl blushed even more with embarrassment.

“W-what are you saying, I'm a straight person?” the girl asked.

“All right, but why are you stuttering, hmm?” Ellen teased.

“I-is it awful to stutter, huh?” the girl asked angrily.

“Sheesh, calm down, I'm just kidding,” Ellen said, then pulled out a key from her dress pocket.

“You said I needed proof that this is my car, right?” Ellen asked before pressing the key and hearing the car beep.

“Now, is this proof enough?” Ellen asked before getting into her car and driving straight to her condo to change and go to the grocery store.

At the grocery store

Ellen is looking for an ingredient for her dinner when she notices a familiar face and approaches him.

“William? Is that you?“ Ellen inquired, and the man turned around to reveal himself to be just another random guy.

“How do you know my name?” asked the man, and Ellen took a step back.

“S-sorry, I thought you were my friend,” Ellen apologized before sprinting to the counter.

Several minutes later,

Ellen paid for her groceries at the counter before heading to the parking lot to find her car when she noticed a man wearing a mask that resembled William.

'Ellen, he's just a random person, don't be tricked again,' Ellen thought to herself as she noticed the man approaching her.

So, Ellen walks faster, but she trips over a rock and falls.

Then the guy notices it and rushes over to her to assist her.

“Ellen, are you all right?” The guy stated, and Ellen seemed confused.

“How did you know my name?” Ellen inquires, after which the man removes his disguise and reveals himself to be William.

“Did I scare you?” Ellen laughs as William inquires.

“Ha Ha, me? Scared? Of course not,Ellen joked.

'You truly scared me to death,' Ellen thought to herself as she attempted to stand up, but her ankle was sprained.

“Ouch!” exclaimed Ellen as she examined her sprained ankle.

“Are you all right?” William inquired, concerned.

“Yes, I'm good, thanks for asking,” Ellen replied as she examined the ingredients she had purchased.

“Sigh, it looks like I won't be able to cook for tonight,” Ellen said quietly enough for William to hear her.

“Do you live alone?” William inquired, and Ellen stared at him.

“Did you hear what I was saying earlier?” Ellen asked, and William just nodded.

“Well, yeah, I lived alone because I didn't want to be a burden to my uncle.” Ellen remarked.

“If you like, I can just take you to my condo and sleep there so that I can help you when we go to school tomorrow because our schedules are the same,” William stated.

“No need for that, ha ha,” Ellen replied as she attempted to stand, and William simply assisted her.

“It's OK, I insist,” William responded before kneeling in the rear, which confused Ellen.

“What are you up to?” Ellen inquires,

“I will carry you,” William responded.

“I-really, it's fine,” Ellen replied as William stood up and turned to face her.

Then he lifts her in a fireman's lift and carries her groceries to his car, where he drives straight to her house.

At William's Condo,

After they arrive, William carries Ellen again.

Afterward, place her groceries on the table after allowing her to sit on the couch.

“Stay here, I'm going to change, and I'll be right back,” William stated before entering a room.

'Sh*t, my heart was racing so fast earlier, and luckily he didn't notice,' Ellen thought to herself, blushing slightly.

After a few moments, William exited his room and went straight to the refrigerator.

“What do you want to eat for dinner?” William asks, emotionless.

“Anything is great,” Ellen answered awkwardly, smiling.

“All right,” William says as he takes out some ingredients.

Several minutes later,

After dinner was cooked, William set the table.

'I want to help—' Ellen's ideas were cut abruptly when William spoke forward.

“I know what you were thinking, Ellen,” William remarked, and Ellen gulped.

“However,” Ellen is cut off once more as William speaks.

“No, but Ellen,” William answered before approaching her and assisting her to the seat.

“This is looking delicious,” Ellen remarked, and William chuckled.

After eating, Ellen sits on the couch and watches television while William does the dishes.

After a few minutes, William has already finished washing the dishes and has gone to Ellen, who is now asleep.

So he carried her into the guest room and tucked her under the blanket.

“Good night, wifey,” William remarked before kissing Ellen on the cheek and going to his room to sleep.

Early in the morning

Ellen awoke around 4:42 a.m and examine her foot to see if it is still in good condition; thankfully, her injury has healed, and she can walk normally.

So, to repay William's goodwill, she cleaned the house and cooked breakfast for him to eat. She also leaves a letter before leaving and going to her condo.

William's Point of View

I was awakened by the sun's rays and went to the bathroom to take a shower before going to school and cooking breakfast for Ellen and me.

After taking a bath, I exit my room and notice that my house is neat and tidy. I also notice that the guest room door is open, so I rush there and find nothing but a letter.

It states:

Dear William, I just wanted to thank you for being so kind to me. If you ever need assistance, I will be there for you. I also clean your house and prepare breakfast for you, and I'll meet you in the schoolyard after class.

Ellen, your great friend,

Because of Ellen's message, I could feel my face burning up after reading it.

I responded, "cute," while blushing slightly.
