A Lady For Two

{Damon's POV}

Another day to hunt food. I thought as I stood outside the house. Let's start with a little introduction.

My name is Damon, you don't even have to know of my age. Sarcastic right, but that's who I am. I am Damon, I can't even tell you of my character or my family because it changes. My character changes, my family Changes, Everything About Me revolves.

Something else you should know is that I am a vampire. And we feed on human blood else we fade away.

In life, I've tasted a lot of blood and I must say humans are the most ridiculous being ever. They see their death face-to-face and knows that no one can save them, yet they try to scream and call for help. That's pathetic.

"Damon!!!!" A voice screamed from inside the house. That's my mum, her name is Arianna and she's one of the most stubborn vampires ever but, I am the strongest. Bragging though.

"Damon!!!!" She called again and even if I wasn't willing, I had to answer anyway.

"Mum." I said still transfixed at the point where I was standing.

"I'm sure I called you." She said with a toneof warning, indicating that she wanted me in her presence. With no choice left, I had to move into the house.

"What do you want?." I scoffed. Ihate when someone tries to order me around. It makes me feel weak.

"I think I need to remind you that I am your mother and for that, I deserve maximum respect." She ranted. Women and their pathetic lifestyle.

"The king needs you at the palace right away." She finally announced making me stare at her for some seconds before finally answering.

"What for?." I asked, not understanding why they wouldn't allow me to have a good and smooth existence.

"A certain vampire had disobeyed the sacred order of not going up to the Sacred Tower at noon, he sneaked into the tower and is now possessed with little demons." She explained and that made me lose interest.

"So how does that concern me?." I queried but I knew exactly where it was going to end.

"Damon, this vampire being possessed, tries to kill other vampires, so, since you're the strongest, the king wants you to go into a combat with this demon possessed vampire and kill him." She said excitedly like the combat was going to be easy peasy.

"Mum, we all have our own demons. I have demons within me that I fight everyday , so please y'all should let the demon possessed vampire be, and according to the Sacred rule on the third day of being possessed, the possessed will be killed by nature itself, so hopefully by tomorrow he'll be dead. Please save me the stress." I said and made to walk away but she stopped me.

"Damo—." She tried saying but me, being me, interrupted her.

"Or you could ask father to fight this vampire, he's my father, he's quite stronger." I concluded and with that, I zoomed off.

                                     * * * *

Rejecting to kill someone was weakness on my part, so I decided that I would have to kill that vampire that is possessed, but I wasn't in any way going to see the king.

I put on my mask, because I'm not some friendly{No vampire is sun friendly anyway, I'm just to stubborn to stay in till night} and went to the top of the hill where it was most likely for the demon vampire to be to be.

As I approached, I saw him sitting, looking up at the sun and he melted away, right before my eyes. Pathetic.

Soon, I started feeling thirsty, and I knew that, it was time for breakfast and, at any time, my fangs would appear.

I, immediately ran with my inhumane speed towards, the city in search of food. In Split Seconds, I was at the city, still on my mask, when I saw a very beautiful girl, who should be about 19 years of age and my fangs immediately surfaced.

Before the girl could bat an eyelid, i had taken hold of her and ran back to the Brambles. 

Thanks to my human speed.

She tried calling for help, just like any pathetic human would do, but that was useless, because my fangs had already dug into her flesh sucking up her delicious blood with blood filled eyes.

"Ouchh.!!!!!."She screamed as the pain hit her, but I just kept drinking and sucking her blood, at the same time draining life out of her.

I screamed after sucking up the blood in her, and then I licked my lips and fangs as well.

Some of her flesh clunged to my teeth, so I just licked them all up. 

And immediately, my fangs disappeared as I tossed her lifeless body away from me.

Sometimes I hate myself after drinking their blood, but I've learnt to accept that it was my fate.

But none the less humans are so pathetic.

 WOLF WORLD

{Muriel's POV}

Hey, I'm Muriel Xavier, I'm 19 years old and I'm a pack warrior at Dark Monarchy's pack, my pack. Thanks to my fighting prowess, and my parents who taught me how to engage in combat when I was still Little Pup.

Most times, people refer to me as white wolf, because my wolf has white fur without any blemish, my wolf is my pride.

"Hello Muriel, I don't understand why I'm here and you're still spacing out." Heedah yelled as she yanked my hair.

"What do you want from me?." I asked amidst pains.

"Attention!!" She yelled and continued her rant about how she will treat her mate when she finds him.

Heedah has been my best friend since childhood, we literally grew up together and woah, it's been a long journey since then.

All the happy times, sad moment's, many fights and intense quarrel, yet we are still best of friends.

Heedah would not stop talking about her future mate anytime we were together. {My only problem with her} I had once told her that, what if the moon goddess forgot to mate her, and she's remain single forever.

Heedah had pouted, and then cried, and even starved herself, for fear of the Unknown. What a being!!! yet I love her, I love her so damn much.

We all lived in the same pack house, but that's the worst idea ever, because the packhouse makes me Furious.

"Why?." You'd ask.

It's because of a little snitchy bitchy Luna. That girl was a mini demon trapped in a bod,y if you ask me. 

I hated her and her sassy character and given the opportunity, I'd definitely kill her myself.

I doubt the Alpha even likes her.

"Ohh come on Muriel. The f*** are you thinking about?." Heedah screamed yanking my hair again.

"Just thinking about your crazy Luna." I replied and winked at her.

"Ohh..you mean that sassy b****?." She asked. More of a comment, than an answer.

And we both laughed heartily.

"You know, the moon goddess says, the luna is a mother figure, but I doubt because that one is a slutty figure, bitchy figure, snitchy figure." Heedah said and rolled her eye in disgust.

"If not for the fact that we are not supposed to talk down on the moon goddess, I would have said that she's heartless to mate the Alpha with that slut." I chipped in.

"Yes!! speak of the devil and the devil appears. here she comes." Heedah said, and tugged her hair in frustration.

"She'd better not talk to us or I'mma with her." said and Heedah smiled.

The Luna walked past us without sparing a glance and we both heaved signs of relief.

Oh now she's coming back. I thought to myself, when I saw her returning.

"Have you two become blind or dumb?." She asked in her usual sassy way.

*No reply*

"I hope I'm not talking to Bunch of dittos?." she yelled 

*No reply*

 Before I could process what's going on, i felt a sting on my cheek.

Heck, she slapped me. I don't care if she's Luna or not, she's absolutely done for.

My wolf readied herself, because I'll shift at any moment.

Heedah was another kind of craz,y who doesn't tolerate bully of any sort. {Is bullying the right word? Don't care though, all I care of is killing the Luna} 

My wolf was crying to be let out, and I let her. Soon, my fangs were in view and my claws had surfaced, and almost immediately you could hear bones cracking because I was shifting, and soon I shifted to my wolf form.

Wasting no time, Heedah also shifted to her wolf form and the crazy Luna, who knew absolutely nothing about fighting shifted to her wolf form too. Pathetic!!!!

I and Heedah circled her, as Heedah lurked at her, throwing her whole body on her as she shrieked in pain.

I pushed her and clawed her skin. {That should leave a mark.}

"Howlllll." She cried out for long seconds. She's calling out for help. Coward!!!

 I was about attacking again, when a huge black midnight Wolf ran to our Direction and circled her in a protective manner.

Heck, it was the Alpha. {Why does this Guy like intruding? Okay, now I'm stupid. He has to intrude, because it's his mate's life on the line.}

I know most of you would be thinking, that I'm in big trouble now, but no!!! the Alpha would never hurt me. I'm his favourite.

Not because we were lovers or anything but the Alpha was more like an elder brother to me and he had always stood for me since I was little.

All it takes is for me to explain what happened and I'm free!! The thing is I and the Alpha grew up together as best friends before my parents died and they handed me over to that jerk, and warned him to make sure I never got hurt. 

So yeah, I'm not in trouble.

Soon, the crazy Luna who caused all this shit ollapsed and changed to her human form. Some of the Pack maids who heard when she cried had also rushed out, so they immediately used a tailcoat jacket to cover some really sensitive parts of her body, as they carried her back to the pack house.

I and Heedah were still in our form, with the black midnight wolf staring at me.

He looked really disappointed, and after staring for what seemed like seconds, he turned around and left.

I was so angry. I need to take a run in my wolf form. I lurged forward into the wood sprinting, enjoying the cool breeze of nature, i enjoyed every sighg of it, the trees, the sky, it was a picturesque view. I got the lake at the far end of the forest and shifted back to my human form. {I only visit the lake when I'm sad.}

I, immediately took careful steps into the lake and went deeper till only my head was visible.

Why am I even angry? I asked myself rhetorically, even if I knew the answer.

I was angry because of that crazy bitch called a Luna, I was angry because moon goddess decided to mate her to the alpha instead of me, for crying out loud.

Gosh Muriel, You are acting insensible right now.

After swimming for some minutes, I got out of the lake and began walking back to the packhouse.

"I know you're angry, but you don't want to return to the pack house butt naked." Heedah yelled at me.

Only then, did it occurr to me that I had Heedah, and ran off alone, and worst, I'm walking naked, without realizing. Gosh, i'm already losing my sense of reasoning, and I'm also a bad best friend.

I looked over to Heedah, to receive a piercing pained look though, she was trying so hard to conceal it.

"I'm sorry." I said in low tunes, as I tried to hold Back the tears that were threatening to fall.

"it's okay Muriel, you only needed your space she said as she approached me.

"I left you." I said with guilt written all over m

"Hush now." She assured stroking my hair soothingly, and that made me burst into tears.

"it's okay Muriel, pretty girls don't cry. The only thing you have to think of now is Revenge." She giggled and winked at me.

{I know that look, that mischievous look.}

"Revenge???." I looked so confused right now because I had no idea what she was talking about. {I take that back, I know exactly what she's talking about}

"You aren't gonna let that sassy bitch get away with what she did right?." She asked with a slight grin.

"What do you have in mind?." I asked. I was interested in this revenge.

Heedah leaned in, and mumbledsome words into my ear as we both giggled.

"Oh my... I love it." I exclaimed when she was done.

"Then let's get started, but firstly wear these clothes so you protect your future mates property." She said and giggled.

 I put the clothes on and we both went hand-in-hand back to the pack house with our little secret in mind.
