SamanthaJACOB keeps on glancing at me while we're going home from the party. Dylan is beside me, and he's fast asleep—completely drunk. I rolled my tongue over my lips as I glance at Jacob through the rear mirror. He caught my stare, and he smiled—showing me his perfect set of teeth and beautiful smile that could make any woman fall for him.
I still can't believe that he likes me—even if I'm like this. I'm miserable and broken. How did he end up liking someone like me?
The whole ride was silent. When we reached the house, I stared at Dylan—trying to figure out if I have to wake him up or just leave him here sleeping.
The door beside me was pulled open. I turned my gaze at Jacob, who's staring down at me. “Let's go inside, so you can take a rest.”
I pressed my lips together. “How about him?” and then I turned my gaze back to Dylan beside me.
“Let him be.”
