I blink my eyes open to an white unfamiliar room with many different people standing over me also in white clothes. I hear loud beeping coming from a box that's standing next to me.

"Where the heck am I and who are all these people"?! I thought to myself my eyes wide as I searched around the room I finally landed on a face I recognized.

"Everyone out except for officer Quinn," a tall man with a long white jacket said.

Now it's just Officer Quinn, the tall man, and myself in the room. I look at them both but quickly avert my gaze down to my fiddling hands Officer Quinn is the first to speak.

"Dear I know this is a lot to take in but I promise you no one will hurt you here This man is Dr. Scott he can help heal your injuries. Also, your stepfather can never see or touch you again he's going to jail for a very long time sweetie" he says in a soft tone and kind eyes.
