"Liam"

I call as I listen to his slow steady breaths in my dimly lit and quiet room.

"Hmm" he hums in response, his chest vibrating under my cheek.

Somehow we ended up lying down and hovering each other. With him holding me like I am about to break and my face on his chest.

"You were about to tell me something," I point out.

I think of other reasons Liam has to want to get married that didn't start and end with getting loads of cash.

"What other reason?" Liam mumbles absentmindedly.

I look up at him with a pout. "The other reason you have to get married"

I say, stressing on every word.

Liam shut his eyes close, his face passive and lips set in a firm line. "I didn't say that"

I frown. "You did minutes ago"

"And you were getting ready to sleep remember" he says lazily, throwing my earlier lie to my face.

I huff, adjusting so I could see his face properly. My eyes meet with his magnificent jaw and follow the trail down his long neck.

He is such a fine specimen.
