Celina left an hour ago with puffy eyes and said she needed sleep after getting her heart shattered into pieces.

I understand her and sigh on the couch. It would have sucked donkey balls if Caleb rejected me. I mean, he still might do it for the sake of getting rid of his lycan form, but—

"Good evening!"

I blink when Caleb rushes into the bedroom and locks the door behind him. He removes most of his clothes, leaving me gaping at him in total confusion.

"What the hell are you doing?!" I exclaim. "You're not supposed to be here!"

"It's a full moon tomorrow," Caleb says as if it would explain why he is getting naked.

What is he doing?!

"And?" I demand.

"And I have to lock myself up in the basement soon. I'm already slipping into darkness, but before that, I intend to shower. And since every room is taken thanks to Roger and his pack being here, I have to use mine."
