The Alphas

classes didn't start earlier that day because of the passing of a teacher. Shane Walker didn't see a point to it, the whole mourning period which had been assigned on behalf of the teacher. every day someone was dying in this school, it had become such a regularity that no one seemed affected anymore. not that the people here cared about anyone but themselves. psychopaths. all of them were psychopaths.

He glares hard at the white wall in front of him. The hot water pouring down on him helped relax his muscles greatly. this was the only time he let himself be vulnerable. he refused to let his eyes fall closed despite the urge and the tiredness that was eating at him. because whenever Shane closed his eyes all he could see was the bloodied body that was once his teacher. he had dared to let himself get close to the man, he should have known better than that.

" hey Shane, are you in there?"  

" Get the fuck away" Shane growled feeling his body tense up once more. despite knowing that the voice belongs to his twin brother Sebastian, he still didn't feel comfortable with the other's presence around him.

" you've been in there for way too long man. we have to meet up with the others. if this whole shitty mourning thing ends then we won't have the opportunity to leave this hellhole anymore "

Shane was already aware of what his twin brother and his gang of Misfits were up to. since most of the staff in the Mad Pact were busy mourning Mr. Williams, Sebastian, and his Friends thought it would be a perfect opportunity to get out of school. but Shane knew better than that, it wouldn't be possible. the security here was tighter than that of a prison yard, Shane would know because he's been there too. The Mad Pact held not only the most dangerous alphas but also the most violent ones as well. they could do whatever they wanted inside the walls, god dammit they could even kill each other and no one would care, but they were never allowed to leave. those who came in never got out.

Shane turned off the shower and wrapped a towel around his waist. he stepped out of the shower stall to find Sebastian waiting outside for him. he glared at the man who was almost identical in appearance to him in displeasure. " I don't care what you and your idiotic friends do, I want no part in it "

" you are so f****** boring," Sebastian said rolling his eyes at his brother. " this is going to be fun, I promise. and even if we don't manage to get out, I heard some of the female staff are hanging by the walls today. we could have fun with them  "

Shane knew exactly what Sebastian meant by Fun. it wasn't the first time his brother and his gang had raped some of the women here before. it wasn't necessarily that he felt bad for those women, actually, he didn't give a fuck. but just because Sebastian had fun doing such a thing didn't mean he did as well. he had better use of his time than assaulting older women

every single student in the Mad Pact was a male Alpha. Alphas were violent and sinister and most of who haven't come in contact with females for a very long time. it was because of this that there was very few female staff that worked in the school. the little ones that did were usually older women who had their Mates also working in the school. but that doesn't mean that accidents don't happen, Shane can't recall how many times the female staff was raped to death here. 

He can't recall how many times someone here died as well. As hot-blooded and violent as Alphas were, it was always someone fighting with someone else and ending up killing them. the Numbers were too much to count, and they grew with each passing day. Shane wasn't any better, if he were he wouldn't be here at the moment. after all, only alphas who committed grievous crimes were sent here.

Sebastian doesn't seem to mind being ignored as he follows after his brother. he chatted cheerfully about what he and his friends had planned out. there was a new female staff in the Mad Pact who wasn't as aged as the rest of the women. she had started work not long ago as a replacement for the school doctor who had passed away recently. she was in her mid-50s and was a female omega. And she was the new target of every Lustful alpha in the Mad Pact. Shane doesn't understand how some females could be so stupid. why was it that they never learned from past experiences to avoid places like this? how many countless females have been raped before? how many had died? and yet they kept coming with each passing semester. if Shane had been a free man, he didn't think there was any amount of money he could be offered that would make him step into a place like this. but then again he was considered one of the alphas that terrorized the mad Pact. 

maybe it was his nonchalant behavior toward violence, maybe it was the fact that he was an alpha of alphas, or it was because he had killed a man with his bare hands not long ago. whatever the reason was, it made him feared and caused others to avoid him. he preferred it that way. Shane would never consider laying a hand on a female without her consent, but he wouldn't hesitate to kill any bastard alpha that gets in his way.

" I heard someone else was coming today. a new student perhaps," Sebastian said. he had heard one of his friends Winter saying that he was getting a new roommate. Winter was worried that he was going to get some perverted asshole as a roommate. after all, he had killed off his last roommate for that very reason. he thinks it would be bothersome having to bury another body again. 

" that's none of my concern " Shane did not pity whatever Alpha was getting brought to this hellhole. if he was sentenced to the Mad Pact then he must have done something terrible to deserve it.

“ I guessed you wouldn't," Sebastian said. They were walking through the hallways together when there was a sudden uproar. most of the alphas who had been walking through the hallways were talking in murmured tones. they seem to be a scene going on in the schoolyard. Shane did not doubt that someone was fighting, it wouldn't be long before another body was forced to be buried. it was always the same thing every day. Sebastian also thought the same thing and so he didn't pay much attention to it. 

" it's a girl " someone exclaimed. it was clear that the person had just been in the yard and had witnessed what was going on. on hearing what he said everyone else became interested, but most didn't believe him. a girl? why would a girl be in a place like this? but they all still wanted to see what was going on either way so many made their way toward the yard

Sebastian exchanged disbelieving looks with his brother " do you think it's true?". but Shane ignored him completely and began to walk towards the schoolyard. Sebastian had no other option but to follow his brother. it wasn't a very long walk outside, they found that a crowd had formed in the yard.  there in the middle of the yard was a pull-up van, the one which normally brought students into the school. but it wasn't the van that had caught everyone's attention, it was the girl who had come out of it. A Luna!

Kira has been anxious all through the drive. she had left the Blood Moon pack several hours ago and was now on her way to the Mad Pact. before she had left, Alpha Colin had provided her with several new clothing. she didn't know why but she thought it was a parting gift. she felt very emotional at his kindness. Killian had also surprisingly hugged her before she had left. it seemed he and his father were the only ones who cared about her. but Kira didn't care about that much, because she thought at least there was someone out there who cared about her

she was looking forward to her stay in this prestigious School. yes, she had stopped doubting Alpha Colin's choice to send her to the Mad Pact. he had said he was a friend of her father's and he cared about her greatly, and she was thankful to him. she would do whatever it took to live a good life here because she didn't want to let Alpha Colin's effort go to waste.

but Kira found it very strange, the sympathetic look the driver of the van kept sending her was alarming. she could remember the smug expression on luna Amy, and Lucille's faces, it was like they knew something she didn't. but Kira had just waved it off as her overthinking things. She found herself amazed at the sheer size of the Mad Pact. she was able to admire the scenery of the castle-like building. the school was fenced around, the fences being so high that she could hardly see the top of it. it was wide and spacious and there were trees and flowers all around. everything seemed neatly kept, it was like stepping into a fantasy, she had never seen anything as beautiful as this before.

"It's so beautiful here " Kira found herself saying out loud. the man by her side only glanced at her and then shook his head as if she had said something very horrible. he already heard everything from alpha Colin, so he knew best to keep his mouth shut

" good luck out there kid," the man said to Kira as the van came to a stop. Kira flashes him a kind smile before pushing the door open and stepping out. despite alpha Colin buying her new clothes she only had enough to fit into a bag that was hanging over her shoulders currently. the moment she was out of the van, she noticed several guys watching her. there were so many of them and it seemed that they were all focused on her. the expressions on their faces held shock and something else Kira couldn't quite a place. she doesn't know why but a shiver ran down her spine. it took Kira several moments to realize something. among the large crowd that was gathered, there was not a single girl in sight. 

Kira was alert, she immediately sense that something was wrong. was this maybe a boy's school? but why hadn't the alpha told her about this? if it was truly a boy's school then she would be expected to have her room right? but the expression on these guys' faces didn't quite seem right. the van behind her was speeding off before she could even think of retreating inside. something was definitely wrong here
