The once peaceful town square had transformed into a battleground.

The scenery had been turned upside down as everywhere was thrown into chaos. Fractured claw marks tore against walls, and wolves growled and lunged at each other with snarls that echoed throughout the entire town.

The True North Pack surged forward like a tide using the magic of their signature. Their fur shimmered silvery, and they had blue eyes like the depths of the ocean. When they snarled, their breath came out like a cold, suffocating mist.

They moved like waves, flowing around them effortlessly, easily reforming and going for another attack.

One of the lead warriors called forth a flash flood with his dense magic, and water exploded through the street, slashing into the Timberfangs like sharp knives and trying to cut through their defence. Another wolf lunged at the enemy, summoning a swirling mist and binding their foes while another stepped in to finish off the disoriented enemy, tearing into their throat

Killian stood by the entrance of the greenhouse, magic pulsing through his veins. He knew the book was in there somewhere, seeing how it had been guarded by many Earth warriors. His paw had just stepped in when something seeped between his legs, and he watched as the form of dust gathered together, reforming into a wolf that stood in his path. The wolf was small, with the same earth granite lining her paws and green patterns on her fur. But, it was smaller than the wolves he saw around and even though it seemed to have a greater fighting spirit than all the wolves he had encountered on his way here, it gave off this eerie vibe. This... repulsive energy. Alpha Killian growled. It was an Omega! Naina easily recognised Killian. She had once wandered into his Pack, seeking shelter. But he had cast her out, almost losing her life to him. Elijah had found her lying outside the border, heavily wounded and barely breathing and had brought her into the Timberfangs' land where she had recov

The Bell hadn't stopped ringing. It rang over the whole town, alerting everyone to the presence of outsiders. Warriors that were asleep woke up, already racing into formation and defending their land. From the windows of the clinic, a glow lit in the distance - the town centre was burning. The fight was probably going on down there. Rhiannon panicked, her heart picking up its pace. She was worried, struggling to get out of bed. She thought about Elijah and the others risking their lives right now, knowing this was her fault. She had been gone from the True North Pack for too long, which had all led to this. The door to her room was thrown open, and Amelia came running inside, "I need to get you out of here," She stated, and went down on a knee with her back facing Rhiannon, "Climb, now,""But-""There's no time,""But what of everyone-""Rhiannon!!" Amelia exclaimed strongly and Rhiannon quickly zipped her mouth shut and jumped on Amelia's back. Amelia rushed out of the room, mov

Kaden saw her coming and quietly excused himself to go and stand away from them, giving them privacy. Rhiannon's fingers hovered over the Joystick of the electric wheelchair as she rolled down the road, her sight set on her destination. Her bad arm was cast awkwardly on her lap. Her ribs ached, her head throbbed and she didn't even want to think of her lap. Her heart raced the closer she got to him, thinking of what to say, thinking about how he would react. The bond tugged at her chest, subtly. Rhiannon swallowed and pushed the chair forward, her heartbeat now louder than the wheels. "Elijah," She called softly, so soft she was afraid she might scare him away. She stopped a few feet behind him, waiting... hoping. He didn't turn, but she saw his shoulders become tense as if her presence was uncomfortable. Then, he half turned, and their eyes met. But it was only for the briefest of moments because Elijah immediately looked away, his jaw clenched tight. His eyes faced the ground,

"No, I won't allow you to take them. You're to be on bed rest until I say otherwise. You know how severe your injuries are. What makes you think you'd be able to use a crutch with a compromised left arm?" Rhiannon was frustrated. She gripped the crutches with her good arm tightly, not ready to let go of them, "I'm going to find my mate. I can't help but think that something is terribly wrong and that is why he isn't here yet,""I already told you. He's busy. Alpha Elijah has been very busy," Amelia stated, trying her hardest to convince her patient. "I want to hear that from him directly," Rhiannon said and began struggling to align the crutches around her bad arm. "As your attending doctor, I will not allow you to take a step with those things," Amelia proclaimed, her stance strong. She then pointed at Rhiannon's injured leg, which she was already straining by trying to stand on her own, "You're only going to make your injuries worse, and you'll put pressure on your good arm if yo

The forest was silent now, and Rhiannon towered over the limp body of the rogue. The adrenaline that filled her system seconds ago was gone, and she listened to the voice of her wolf. End it. Then, she knelt above the monster. Her body shook slightly, and her breath came out a little ragged. She hovered just around the beast's chest, then she raised an arm to the air, her sharp claws facing his heart. With one plunge deep enough, she would end its life. Her memories stirred again, going back to that horrible day she had died. How it had sunk its teeth deep into her neck, eventually ripping off her head. Her final moments had been devastating. Like a ghost feeling, she could still feel the blinding pain that came with it. Her bones throbbed, and then she descended on the rogue, but her hands paused mid-air. Something in her...froze. She blinked, staring at the rogue's form. Its fur was stained with blood, and even unconscious, it still radiated that brutal, unchained hungry driv
