Ingrid's pov

My wolf paced in frantic circles at the edge of my mind, her ethereal being huffing frustration with every beat of my heart.

“You can’t shoulder this alone. It's too big of a secret to keep to yourself,” she growled.

"Don't you think I know that? But who do I tell? I can't tell the alpha because it will just break his heart and any hope of reconciling with Luna Kayla will disappear without knowing if what we found is real or not.
