Tamara's POV

I stood there, horrified and heartbroken but I refused to give up.

"But this is my house Jack! I’m the Luna of the winter pack so I get to say who—“

“You don’t get to say anything alone Luna! Have you forgotten that we merged our packs when I claimed you?” Jack interrupted. "I have an equal say in everything. Stop being selfish and think of others for once. Kate will stay with us and that’s final." He declared in a firm unyielding Alpha tone.

I felt my blood boil as I watched Jack scoop Kate up in his arms and carry her to one of the bedrooms upstairs.

She still had that smug smile on her face. That bitch!

Kate had won this round, and unless I did something drastic, she would continue to win. But what could I do?

The logical thing would be to break up with him now so we don’t get married and he doesn’t kill me in the future right?

But there was one problem. Our packs had already merged to become one, and as my pack had grown, Jack’s pack had grown in number and power too.

If I broke up with him, he would probably turn around and send his pack to attack my people with our own resources, and that would be a blood bath.

If I was going to break up with Jack, I had to make sure that my pack would be protected by something or someone strong enough to scare away any retaliation from Jack. But how was I supposed to find that kind of protection? Jack was scared of nobody.

I felt so choked up with emotion that it was overwhelming. I needed some space to breathe.

I left the house, stripped off my clothes and shifted into my wolf form as I ran into the woods, the cool evening air was amazing against my skin.

It felt amazing to be alive!

I felt my wolf Maya rise to the surface to speak to me. “Our parents are alive too! In this time line, our friends and loved ones are all still alive! Tamara, we have to keep them safe this time!” She urged and I agreed.

It seemed that the war and attacks that killed our parents and killed almost half of my pack hadn’t started happening yet.

According to the past timeline, in Just four months from now, Our worst enemy, the ruthless Alpha Dante would send his men to start spying on us. Then he would launch a surprise attack and kill my parents who had retired to Switzerland.

In the past, Alpha Dante had claimed that he was attacking us because my pack members had stolen from him, but we never did such a thing, we were being framed.

After that, a war broke out between us and Alpha Dante wiped out more than half of my pack members.

In the past, Kate used that opportunity to convince my people that everything was my fault. The people blamed me for the death of their loved ones, and turned their backs on me, choosing to support Kate instead.

All this would happen in just four months from now. Which meant that I only had about four months to save my self, my parents and my pack from certain death.

I ran deeper into the forest, trying to clear my thoughts but I soon got tired and decided to head home.

I was sweaty from the run, so I decided to take a shower, but just as I began to strip off my clothes, Jack walked in with an apologetic look on his face. He was also holding a bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates.

I quickly pulled my top down, hiding my nakedness from him.

Jack quirked his brow at me. "Why are you hiding your breasts from me? It's not like I haven't seen before." He said and I felt like punching him. He had lost the rights to my body the day I realized he was a traitor.

“What do you want Jack?” I snapped, failing to hide my irritation from him.

Jack looked so shocked at my tone that he froze. “What’s got into you Tamara? You’ve never spoken to me like this before, did I do something wrong?” He asked and I wanted to laugh.

The only thing he did wrong was lie to me, cheat on me, betray me, and then kill me and my unborn child, but he couldn’t discover that I knew these things, so I faked another smile and sighed.

“I’m sorry darling, preparing for the wedding is making me a little tired lately.” I apologized and Jack smiled at me.

"It’s alright Tamara," he began,"I'm also very sorry for yelling at you earlier and arguing with you. I shouldn't have disrespected you in front of everyone. I swear it will never happen again. Please forgive me." He said.

I blinked at him in surprise. The Jack from my past never bought me flowers, and he never apologized so profusely. What was going on?

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Hector's ultimatum

Ivonne's pov I could feel my blood start to boil again but that lying little witch called Solenne kept crying even louder now. Marcellus finally turned back to me. “So Now, Ivonne… All we ask is where is Viera’s body?” My entire mind blanked. “What do you mean, ‘where’s her body’? You haven’t found it? How are you accusing me of murder when you don’t even—?” “Because Lycans,” he snapped impatiently, “have the ability to sense their bloodline. Viera’s family felt her absence — permanently — a while ago. She is gone from their bond. Dead.” My brow shot up Her family actually felt her die? Despite being accused of her murder, I couldn't help but think That it must have been heart wrenching for the family to feel that. That almost explains her brothers action earlier. Almost. “And,” Marcellus added with a triumphant sneer, “that was around the same moment Beta Leonard was found fleeing with your blood-soaked clothes. A coincidence?” I turned my eyes toward Hector again. He final

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    The hearing

Ivonne POVI definitely couldn’t stop shaking now.Every step forward felt like my legs didn’t want to move, like my knees were hollow. Viera’s brother’s screams were still ringing in my ears — murderer, filthy murderer — with the same sharpness as if he were still in front of me. My heart hadn’t slowed down. It thumped violently, uneven, like it was trying to break out of my chest. The guards didn’t even give me time to breathe before pushing me into a massive dark doorway.I stumbled inside the hall, caught off guard by how huge it was — carved stone pillars, high ceilings, glowing torches casting shadows that made all the old Lycans seated inside look like creatures from a nightmare. Dozens of large, muscular, intimidating men turned toward me the second I appeared. They stopped talking. All of them. And just stared. And I swear, for a second, I couldn’t breathe. Every set of eyes was cold, disapproving, sharp, like I was something they’d scrape off their boots.I forced myself to

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    Family of the Deceased

Ivonnes povOutside the dungeon, the air was cold and sharp, and it hit me like a harsh slap. Dawn was breaking over the lycan realm—pale blue light touching the tops of impossibly tall, sleek buildings that made no earthly sense.Wait-- It was morning already? I had been locked up for that long?I blinked hard, because the sky looked unfamiliar compared to the realm i was from. The architecture gleamed with metallic stone and pulsing lights. Everything looked impossibly advanced—like a futuristic city carved by hands that knew more than we did.It was startling to realize how advanced the Lycans actually were. They were stronger, smarter, prettier, more powerful and most especially more vicious and more vengeful than any other human-like creature alive. And I was about to walk into their court… in chains. My stomach twisted at the thought as they dragged me forward, but then i suddenly remembered that my life still had other less pressing but still important problems.“I’m supposed t

IVONNE POV"Please stop pretending Ivonne. Because Hector was found trying to dispose of your bloody clothes today. And we have confirmed that the blood on your clothes are from his deceased concubine Viera. So please explain that to me."I just stared at Sevrin, my mind blank, my throat painfully tight. It felt like his question was still echoing in the cell even though he’d asked it only seconds ago.Viera's Blood was on my clothes?!Hector tried to dispose of My clothes beause they had Vieras blood on them. How? When? Why?For a second, I couldn’t even breathe. Then my mind lurched, dragging memories up like they were buried under mud.I could vividly remember Hector saying he gave my clothes to Lora because I had puked on them. But… he never said anything about blood. Not once. And i could remember when Lora—my throat tightened at the memory— when Lora had told me that she never received those clothes to wash. I’d brushed her off, thinking she was either right that Hector had bee

  • A Luna of Ice : Reborn for vengeance    The lycan Dungeon

Ivonne's povAfter swallowing the painful lump in my throat, the guards dragged me forward, now even more roughly than before but i refused to utter even a groan of pain.We soon eventually stopped in front of a cell. One of the guards opened the door and shoved me inside.I stumbled forward and hit the rough stone floor, scraping my knees. When I turned back, the door slammed shut with a loud clang.“Wait!” I shouted. “I have rights! I demand to see a lawyer at least!”The guards exchanged glances before one of them actually laughed.“A lawyer?” he repeated mockingly. “You think this is the northern continent, little halfbreed wolf? You are in Lycan territory now. We don’t follow your disgusting human rules here.”My heart sank.“You are bound by Lycan law,” another added coldly. “And that law does not favor wolves with corrupted blood like yours.”Corrupted blood? The way he said it—like I was filth— it made my skin crawl.“Please,” I said desperately, gripping the bars. “I didn’t d

Ivonne’s POVI stumbled away from their reaching hands as The world seemed to tilt beneath me.“I’m sorry wait—what?” I managed to choke out, staring at the tall Lycans in disbelief. “You—you think I did what?”The one who looked like their leader stepped even closer. “Miss Ivonne please cooperate as we take you in for the murder of Lady Viera.”I took another desperate step back automatically. “That’s insane! I didn’t—there must be some mistake! I didn’t kill anyone!”Before I could say anything else, one of them forcefully grabbed my wrist before twisting it behind my back with terrifying strength. I cried out, more from shock than pain, and another Lycan snapped something cold and metallic around my wrists.I hissed as an immediate chill swept through my body. The cuffs weren’t ordinary. I could feel it—the energy inside me, my werewolf instincts, my inner senses—all of it dulled instantly like someone had flipped a switch.“What are these?” I demanded, struggling.“Lycan-forged re
