Ivonne’s POV

"I never wanted any of them."He repeated but I didn't believe him.

Heck! I couldn’t even look at him.

Not after what all that had happened. Not after the twenty women standing in the hall earlier, preening and giggling like exotic birds waiting for their turn to perch on Hector’s arm.

My chest was still tight from the memory — all their perfumes, the smug looks some of them gave me, and the quiet way Hector just stood there, saying nothing.

I hissed and stormed off to my room.

Ivonne's povThe courtyard was dead silent, save for the bitter crackle of extinguished lanterns and the sound of my own shattered, gasping sobs. The moment the demonic portal snapped shut, the black chains around Hector dissolved into thin air. He scrambled across the cold stone, gathering me tightly against his chest as I collapsed into absolute hysterics."I had them... but he took them... he took our babies Hector!" I shrieked, my voice breaking into raw, ragged screams.Hector held me like a man trying to keep his own soul from splitting open. His arms were shaking violently, and around us, our friends—Elara, Leo, Sevrin, Denise, Thorin, Justin, and Viera stood in total shock.Denise was weeping softly into Sevrin's chest, while Elara looked on with a pale, horrified expression, her hands clutching her own pregnant stomach. With a guttural, terrifying roar of pure agony, Hector stood up, turning to the nearest marble pillar. He slammed his bare fists into the stone over and over

Ivonne's povIt was Larry. His skin was pale, his veins black and bulging, and his eyes burned with a terrifying, inhuman crimson light. But he was very real, very here, and very much alive!"Larry?!" Hector roared, instantly stepping in front of me and the babies, his body surging as he prepared to shift into his giant Lycan form. "How the hell are you alive?!"Larry let out a dark, booming laugh that rattled the glass in the manor windows. "Did you really think a pathetic blood-clone decoy in an underground workshop was me, Alpha? It seems you and your Luna are really as foolish as I suspected you were." He sneered and fury bloomed in my heart. How dare he?! How dare he mock us after we mourned his death? After all his betrayal, we still mourned what we though was his loss! And here he was, spitting in our faces again. I was not about to let this slide. With a snarl, I called upon the ancient wolf spirit within my blood. Ulfris!A golden aura burst around us as Ulfris tried to surge

  • 3 BOOKS. The Lunas of vengeance   Months ahead

Ivonne's povDespite my inner fear, the months that followed were nothing short of a surprising miracle. The dark shadows that had hung over the Lycan realm for so long seemed to evaporate into the warm sunlight.Trade and tourist routes between the Lycan realm and the rest of the world reopened, fields blossomed with fresh green crops, and the sound of laughter replaced the heavy silence that used to blanket the capital.Walking through the central market with Hector, I felt a deep, overwhelming sense of pride. Citizens bowed with genuine warmth, handing us flowers and fresh bread, cheering for their Alpha and Luna."Careful, my love," Hector murmured, his hand resting supportively against the small of my back as we walked up the manor steps. His dark eyes softened with that endless, fierce devotion that always made my heart flutter. "You shouldn't be walking so much in your condition.""I am fine, Hector," I giggled softly, leaning into his side. "The healer said light walks are goo

Ivonne's povThorin stood up so abruptly that it made my heart clench. Everyone at this table knew he had been very against his brother's relationship with Denise in the beginning, but I thought he had changed his mind and finally accepted them?Heck! He had even made a public apology for trying to come between them in the past, so what was this about now?Chelsea reached out, placing a hand on his arm before Thorin walked around the table toward his younger brother. The room had fallen completely silent now and Sevrin tensed slightly, looking at Thorin, but to my surprise, Thorin didn't look angry at all.He looked deeply remorseful instead.Thorin stopped right in front of Sevrin and Denise. He looked down at their joined hands, then looked up into Sevrin's eyes."Sevrin," Thorin said quietly, his voice carrying a rare softness. "Before our Alpha and Luna speak... I need to say something."Thorin turned his gaze to Denise, his expression heavy with regret. "Denise... again, I want

Ivonne's povMy stomach twisted nervously and a heavy weight settled in my chest when I wondered about What choice I could possibly have to make now that Larry and Alison are gone?"Ivonne?" Hector asked softly, noticing the slight change in my expression. "Is everything okay?"I snapped out of my thoughts and looked up at his worried eyes. I didn't want to ruin this perfect moment. I didn't want to spoil his good mood with dark warnings that might not even come true yet.So, I forced a bright, happy smile onto my face and pushed the dark thought deep into the back of my mind."I am perfect," I lied gently, tightening my hug around him. "Just happy to be here with you."Suddenly, the door to our parlor burst open, and Elara skipped into the room with a massive grin on her face."There you two are!" Elara cheered, clapping her hands together excitedly.Hector chuckled, letting go of my waist slightly, though he kept one hand resting comfortably on my hip. "Elara, do you ever knock?""K

Ivone's pov"For your crimes against the realm," Hector announced, his deep voice carrying over the crowd, "the judgment of the Alpha is life imprisonment in the deep dungeon palace. You will spend the rest of your days doing hard labor, isolated from the light of the sun."The crowd began to cheer and whisper in agreement. "Yes! Send him to the dungeons!" someone sh"Take him away!" another called out.The guards stepped forward to grab Marcellus's arms but Marcellus did not fight. He just bowed his head, accepting his fate. And somehow, that didnt sit right with me."Stop!" I called out, stepping forward. My voice echoed loudly, and the entire room suddenly went dead silent. Everyone stared at me in confusion—including Hector, who looked at me with wide, curious eyes."Luna Ivonne?" the magistrate asked, surprised. "Do you object to the Alpha's sentence?"I walked out from behind the high table and stood in the center of the room, looking directly at the crowd, and then at Marcellus
