Killian's POV

Lucienne’s words haunted me and with a heavy heart, I drove aimlessly through the streets of the pack. I eventually parked the car at the pack house and then decided to go for a walk. The night air was cool against my skin as I navigated through the familiar streets, seeking solace in the rhythm of my footsteps.

Eventually, I found myself on the outskirts of the city, surrounded by the tranquil beauty of the moonlit forest. Without hesitation, I stepped out onto the forest floor, letting the familiar sights and sounds of the wilderness wash over me then I changed into my wolf.

With each leap, I felt the tension in my muscles melt away, replaced by the feeling of calm and clarity. My first stop was at the moon river, saying a quick prayer to the Goddess on Lucienne'a state then I decided to patrol the whole pack before heading back home.
