I felt disgusted as Bernard exposed his tobacco-damaged teeth when he smiled. I should have always suspected him. I should have always known that something was so fishy about them.

How they came into our lives was pretty suspicious. But who could have imagined it would turn out like this?

Damian came into our lives the same way, and he’s one of the reasons I’m still fighting to stay alive.
