I stared at the wall for hours without moving a single muscle.

After Cane and I returned to the mansion, I walked through the front doors and made a beeline for Elijah's room.

I needed a quite place to shut everything out. But the moment I stepped in to his room, my mind started playing games with me.

I tried to shut the voices out.

I tried to block the horrible images from entering my head. But I failed miserably.

If I was back at home, I would have successfully escape moments like this by letting myself get lost in the beautiful colours of the paints.

I would use all the anxiety and fear as a strength to wield my weapons.

I wanted to do the same here. But of course, I couldn't.

So, I ended up dropping myself on the edge of the bed and stared in to the wall.

I didn't realize how long I'd stayed frozen until I heard the door open.

I moved my eyes over to the door and tensed up when I saw Elijah walk in.
