FOUR.
Xavier's POV. I stared at the empty bed, feeling my heart tighten in pain as I let out a sigh. 'I really hoped she would wait.' I thought as I exited the room and drove back home to meet Dad in the living room, working on his laptop, looking like a normal man instead of the terrifying Alpha I knew. 'Doesn't he have pack meetings to attend to?' I wondered in disbelief. "Are you prepared for your resumption?" He asked and I nodded, taking a seat on the couch opposite him. "Good. I wish you success." He smiled at me and I fought to return it, my head still filled with thoughts about Tulip. 'Did she run from me or regret what happened the previous night?' I pondered, digging my nails into my palm. "I heard Damian didn't get in," Father said and I fought the urge not to roll my eyes. That bastard. Well, it was for the best. He didn't deserve Nevermore, nor did he deserve Tulip, and this was all my fault. Perhaps if I had confessed my feelings to her earlier, she wouldn't have dated that asshole, she wouldn't have hated me but love wasn't something I could easily confess. Speaking of the devil, Damian walked in, his hands clenched into fists as he glared at me. "What?" I asked, feeling irritated while Dad looked up from his phone. "Oh! You are here." Dad said and I turned to look at him. "You called him here?" I asked and he shook his head sideways. "Of course not." He replied. "Then why is he here, staring at me like that?" I questioned and Dad shrugged. "You bastard!" Damian cursed as he picked up the vase on the table and threw it towards me. My dad's eyes widened as I jumped out of the way and it smashed into the wall. "Damian, that's your aunt's favorite Vase," Dad yelled and Damian's expression tightened. "Shut up, Old man." He snarled at Dad who looked taken aback. He said nothing, though, and I was sure if Damian wasn't family, his head would have been rolling on the floor now. "You don't talk to my father that way," I warned him with a death stare, and he grinned. "Or what?" He asked and I jumped at him, pushing him to the floor as I straddled him and began hurling punches at his face. "You don't talk to my dad like that." I blew a tooth out, and he struggled to fight me, but I made sure I had the upper hand, till Dad pulled us away from one another. "What is wrong with both of you? Why always fight when you are family?" Dad inquired as he handed Damian an ice pack to cool his swollen face. "I am no family with a pig." I scoffed. "Could say the same for me," Damian added, and I got up from the sofa, headed to the fridge, and got myself a canned drink. "Uncle, ask your son why he screwed my mate! why he touched a girl I have not touched." Damian roared and my blood turned cold. He knew about me and Tulip? But How? I was sure Tulip wouldn't tell him or was I wrong? "Xavier, is that true?" Dad questioned, turning to look at me with disappointment flashing through his eyes. "Of course it is, Malia saw them kissing at a club and trailed them to a hotel," Damian added and I giggled. "She is as jobless as you are." I laughed and Dad frowned. "So you did sleep with his girlfriend?" Dad asked and I nodded. “Ex-girlfriend.” I snorted. "You son of a bitch!" Damian tried jumping on me again but Dad stopped him. "It's his fault. He cheated on the poor girl and she ended up at a bar, drunk." I explained and the fury in my Dad's eyes melted. "She just did payback and trust me, it's not enough for the pain you have put her through," I growled, slamming the canned drink against his head and dashing up the stairs, ignoring my Dad's calls. I jumped onto my bed and tried dialing her number to let her know that Damian already knew about us but I realized I had been blocked. I felt restless, likewise my wolf whom was dying to feel his mate one more time. I took a brief shower, went down the stairs to see Damian still talking with Dad. Apparently, Dad let him know I got into Nevermore Sports Academy, but he didn't seem too happy about it since his application was rejected. That was his pain. I left the house in a hurry and went to Tulip's dorm only to find out that she had packed all her things and another person was to move in. I let out a weary sigh, knowing now that she was trying to avoid me but she couldn't. I also got accepted into Nevermore and this time, I wouldn't ever let her go again. And now that I have seen her again, I yet again, let her escape me. "What's up, bro?" My new friend, Jeremy slapped me on the back as we went out of the locker room. "You seem distracted." He told me and I shook my head sideways. It was Tulip messing with my head yet again. "Just stressed." I lied, even though it wasn't exactly a lie. Training here, was hectic. "Will you be able to hit the new club opening tonight?" He questioned, and I was about to say no, but I reasoned that it might be a good distraction. "Why not?" I grinned as memories of my past hit me. If it were not for the fact that I had to fulfill my Dad's wishes, I wouldn't be here, in this academy; I would be running my own Biker's Club now. "By the way, I heard two new Alpha players are joining us with one more Coach." Jeremy wiped his sweaty face with a towel as we entered our dorm room. That caught my attention. "Why? I thought the trials and applications were closed." I told him and he shrugged. "I thought the same too but I guess this set of people has connections," Jeremy smirked, and I collapsed onto my bed, feeling a sense of dread running through me for an unknown reason. Who were they and what would they be like? Later that night, we did hit the club. The loud music blared loudly, while girls flocked around us for attention, but that didn't grab me; it was seeing Tulip on another man's lap that did.SIX.Tulip's POV.It was just like I had been punched in the guts as I stared at Xavier, whose jaw was tightening as he watched Danzo wrap his hands around my waist and draw me closer to him.My back met his chest and I let out a gasp when Danzo began placing kisses on my neck. I was too shocked to move but a moan escaped my lips when he bit a tender spot.I looked towards Xavier whose eyes were reddening as he stormed over. The scent hit me, stronger this time and my wolf was flipping happily in my head.As Xavier's stare burned into me, I felt my nipples hardening and before I could stop Leslie, she whispered the word. "Mate." No,no, there was no way I could accept Xavier as my mate! Danzo froze in his actions and looked up then Xavier took the opportunity to pull me out of his arms. Danzo tried grabbing me back but;"You bastard." Xavier roared and kicked him in the chest hard.My eyes widened, and I tried moving to Danzo, who held his chest, coughing badly as his expression tig
FIVE.Tulip's POV."So what is your name?" The green-eyed dude asked me as we both took a seat in the cafe. I took a bite of my muffin and let out a moan unconsciously in pleasure. This was so fucking good and melty."Is it that delicious?" He asked, taking a bite of his muffin, as he stared at me, and I nodded with a smile."I am Tulip," I told him."Danzo." The black-haired dude grinned at me and I felt my heart melting once again."So what do you do?" I found myself asking and he chuckled while I widened my eyes slightly and immediately covered my mouth."Oh My God," I mumbled. "I am so sorry."'How could I have been too forward?' I bit my lower lip hard as I looked away from him, and he chuckled again, his hands reaching forward to touch me.I shivered, goosebumps covering my entire body as I turned to look at him in awe."It's okay. If anything, I am glad you want to know more about me." He winked and I felt saliva gathering in my mouth. How could someone be so attractive? He was

THREE.Tulip's POV.I woke up with a banging headache the next morning and let out a groan, as I tried to sit up. I flicked my eyelids open and was greeted with an empty room.I looked down at myself and saw that I was naked and just covered with a duvet. A shiver ran down my spine when I lifted the duvet and saw blood all over the sheets. I felt a slight pain on my neck and when I stared at my reflection on the mirror, I froze at the point.‘He had marked me!’ I gasped, in disgust. My thighs were aching as well, which means I did do it with Xavier, and he just left me here, like I was some whore?I scoffed in disbelief and was about to get down from the bed when I saw a sheet of paper flying from the pillow. I reached to pick it and saw it was a note from Xavier."By the time you are awake, I might be gone. I am so sorry. Dad called and needs to see me urgently. Can you wait for me to be back? We need to talk. Xavier." I read out loud and felt a huge lump forming in my throat.'So h
TWO.Tulip's POV."TF!" Xavier cursed, jumping away from me as he stared at me like I had grown two heads as I chuckled."What?" I pulled him back by his collar and tried kissing him again, but he threw his head to the side, and I ended up pecking his cheeks.Anger surged in my veins. 'Must be the alcohol.' I thought because there was no reason for me to feel pissed, since I hated this dude and just wanted to use him now as a means of revenge."I am that undesirable to you?" I pouted and he looked deep into my eyes, cupping my cheeks in his hands and kissing me deeply.I lost my breath as he thrust his tongue into my mouth, his hands stroking my hair as he wrapped the other hand around my neck. His sweet dominating scent filled my nostrils and I wondered how I was able to perceive that when he wasn't even my mate. ‘Must be the alcohol.’ I broke the kiss and looked away, biting my lower lip hard because that was intense and I found myself drawn to him like never before. "You are the
ONETulip's POV.Tonight was when I would lose my virginity to Damian, my boyfriend, my mate. He had been patient enough to wait ever since our mating ceremony, and I made a secret deal that when I get the approval to be a Coach to Hockey Dreamers players, I shall be ready for sex.I applied the red lipstick on my lips, ensuring I was good to go in the mirror before exiting the dorm room. I was locking up when;"And where is the nerd going, dressed like this?" I heard the voice of Xavier Grey, my childhood bully and Damian's cousin who was also his greatest rival. Those two never saw eye to eye; otherwise, it would be war, and sadly, Xavier always won. We all went to the same college and are in our final year.Damian and I both made an application to Nevermore, Sports Academy. Damian wanted to join the Hockey Dreamers Team, while I wanted to be one of the Coaches. And as for Xavier? I had no idea what his plans after college were, perhaps to take over his father's pack? I waved the th
