Chapter 6: Witnessing a Scary Thing

"I'm actually confused. You're a big lady, but why is your life so miserable?" Zayden asked, stuffing one hand into his pants pocket.

"None of your business!" Olivia got up from her seat and walked away.

Zayden had no intention of catching up; it was Olivia's choice, so he ignored her and called his assistant to pick him up immediately.

A car pulled up in front of Zayden, and the man got in.

"You're not taking him back?" Clif asked.

"No need. I don't want to deal with him anymore. In any case, the Bloods have not sent him as a spy. There are things we need to take care of now," said Zayden, who sat back in the passenger seat, straightening his suit.

Zayden watched through the window as Olivia walked alone, allowing the rain to soak her body.

'That stupid woman let herself wander on the streets because of a man,' Zayden said, looking down at Olivia and looking away again.

As Olivia walked down the street, she felt her stomach rumbling and felt very hungry. She reached into her pants
