Grace's pov

I walked into the clinic and the clinic was empty. No one was around.

My eyes were heavy from lack of sleep because I barely slept last night.

I waited all night for Silvano to come back to the room but he didn't.

I thought he was going to come back to the room this morning but he didn't.

I even waited for a while this morning, hoping to see him before I left for work, but I didn't.

I don't know if he was still pissed off with me. I want us to talk about it. I still stand my ground on him seeing a therapist because while I was awake waiting for him all night, what he told me kept playing in my head.

I felt his pain like it was mine and I can't imagine what it will be doing to him. He was showing a strong face but I wonder what was going on behind his facade.

“You are late,” Caterina said and appeared before me.

I blinked, confused about what she said. “What do you say?” I asked.

“You are late,” she said, her hands on her waist.
