Chapter 4

ALPHA DYLAN’S POV

~flashback~

 “Well, I would like a restaurant of my own, and appoint chefs.” Nisha said, looking like she had dropped a bomb shell.

“Alright. I’ll see to that.” I said as I breathed in the fresh air.

Then my beta came over to me, and whispered to my ear.

“Alpha, the seer wishes to see you.”

I glanced at her, and saw her smiling. I wondered why she decided to see me here, in the woods, when she can always ask to see me officially in the palace. Then I walked over to her, and we exchanged greetings.

“It’s unlike you to ask to see me, just because you saw me in the woods, Rosa.”

“I know, right? But this is something I would like to let you know as soon as possible.”

“Alright, I am all ears.”

“Finally, you have found your mate. And indeed, she is special.” She said, with a smile.

“Can you uncover her identity?” I asked, out of curiosity.

“I do not understand. What do you mean?”

Then she chuckled. “Because she is over there.” She pointed in the direction of Nisha.

And then I looked back at Rosa.

“She? She is just a sex slave.”

“We both know that you somehow felt she was different. Well, that’s because both your wolves are suited for each other. She completes you, and you complete her.” Rosa said, with a smile, and we both glanced at Nisha, who was looking at us, cluelessly.

“Alpha! Alpha!” Neon’s voice, jolted me back to reality.

“What’s wrong?” I asked as I got down from my bed.

“It’s Nisha. She has escaped.”

“What! How was that possible?” I questioned in anger.

“The guards were fooled. They still thought she had the freedom to go back outside as she pleased.

“Track her down, now! She must not escape.” I ordered, fuming in anger.

I paced around in my room as I clenched my fists. She was really daring to have tried to escape. She probably thought she would get away with it, unfortunately, she wasn’t aware that she can never escape me. Afterall, I was her mate.

After a long while, I got news that they had caught her.

“Take her to the dungeon.” I ordered and then headed to the dungeon, myself.

I got so angry and pinned her neck to the wall.

“How dare you go against the Alpha King? Me.” I said, sternly.

I could see how frightened she was, and then I decided to let go of her. Somehow, the mating we have been doing must have taken a toll on me as I saw her as one, with me. I couldn’t really bear to hurt her more than I was, now. I watched as she coughed hard and wheezed.

“Forgive me, Alpha Dylan.” She said as she went down on her knees.

“One thing you should know is, you can never escape from your mate, not when he has accepted you. If you dare try this again, I promise you, death. Take her back.”

MELISSA’S POV

I was taken back to my chambers, and I knew that I no longer had the nerves to escape. Especially that the mate bond would always draw us together, and if my escape plan fell through, that would be death for me. Somehow, hatred began to grow in my heart, towards him. He had taken away my freedom.

Days passed and I was crowned Luna. On the night when he was to mark me, he was on top of me, on the bed, staring into my soul. And he looked into my eyes as he penetrated into me, making me moan. Despite how much pleasure he gave me, I couldn’t bring myself to mate with an open heart. He then bit my neck and I let out a growl.

“Now, you are mine.” He said as he continued to slide his d**k, in and out of me.

I was no longer entitled to have sex with different men, but only him. Was this going to be the beginning of the a new me? The change that my boss couldn’t bring into my life, was it the Alpha King’s orders that would welcome that change?

The next day, I woke up, feeling depressed and I decided to go out of his chambers to take in the morning breeze, but then, the door opened, just before I could get close to it. It was Alpha Dylan. The sun which radiated on his skin, made him look breathtaking, and surprisingly, he was wearing a smile.

“Morning, my Luna.”

My hardened heart towards him, immediately thawed.

“But I thought we hated him.” My wolf said.

That was what I thought too. Why was I admiring every single thing about him, and why was he acting so different from last night? Was this a dream?

“I ordered the maids to make something light for you, for breakfast.” He said as he dropped the tray of food on the table.

And then he turned me to face him, with his face, close to mine.

“And, from now on, we will be sleeping in the same chambers.” He said as he stared intensely into my eyes, making me feel like I lost my breath for a moment.

I wondered if I really was in a dream. He was totally different from who people say he was. But then a knock came in.

“Come in.” He said as he gazed at the door.

“I came here for the morning report.” His beta said and I wondered what report they were talking about.

“Alright, I’m all ears.” He said, with his stern voice.

“There was only one case of attempted rape, and we have thrown him into the dungeon.”

“Alright, good. And what about the man caught in the last few days?”

“It seems he has turned a new leaf. We tested him, and he passed.” Beta Neon replied, without having eye contact with Alpha Dylan.

“Alright, I’ll be with you, soon. You can leave.”

My mouth was left, agape. Alpha Dylan was cold, stern, but he was just, and the best Alpha King we could ever have. Then he looked at me, and held my hand.

“I have to go. See you later.” He said, with a smile.

I watched him as he left. My impression of him changed, and day by day, I began to know and admire a lot about him. In fact, I was glad that I was the mate of the Alpha Lycan King, and became proud as his Luna.

A few weeks later

Today was the very day Alpha Dylan was going to come back from his trip to a faraway kingdom. I was so excited, especially because I had planned to have a lot of s*x with him as I had been patient enough, without sex. Then I went to the garden, to get some flowers to give the room a nice scent, just to get myself busy.

While admiring the beautiful flowers as I picked them up, my eyes caught the male gardener, peeing somewhere around the corner and I gasped in surprise at how big his d**k was. Suddenly, the urge to have s*x became uncontrollable. I shut my eyes tight, trying to fight with my mind.

“Alpha Dylan will be back soon. Be calm.” I said to myself, repeatedly.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t hold it any longer, so I walked towards him.

It felt so good to finally have s*x which I have longed for since Alpha Dylan’s absence. The gardener’s d**k was doing a perfect job and I loved it. Suddenly, the door opened aggressively.

“This is a disgrace.” An elder said, frowning at me.

Someone must have seen us and reported to him. This meant death as I had cheated on the king. But what I feared the most was Alpha Dylan’s reaction. Then I heard a soft, but mysterious voice which no one seemed to have  heard.

“It is time, Melissa.” The voice whispered and faded.
