MIA’S POV

Thankfully, the fuzziness, and high-pitched sound, went away.

“Shit! That was painful.” I said as I managed to stand, then looked around.

Derek was really gone. Could he have gone somewhere he didn’t want me to know about? Whatever. Then I walked back to the house. Turned on the TV, and started watching, while sipping my tea.

“I think I’m going to need a job. Can’t keep staring at my debit alert. I need credits, too. Let’s see… What am I good at?” I asked myself as I squinted my eyes.

If I were to be honest, the only thing I was really good at, was having sex, and that wasn’t something to be proud of. Then a message popped up on my phone, which read:

“To get money, we always have to strive, and work hard. How about making money, but having fun while making money?”

I gasped as it felt as if it came at the right time, but I had to be certain that it wasn’t a scam, or something I would regret, later. Then I decided to call the number they pasted, there
