Chapter 3. Regrets

"Shitttt".

Daniel's sister was watching him in distress. She could clearly say something was disturbing him so much for the past two days. She entered his room and found him sitting on the floor by the bed with beer.

"Daniel. What is it"? She sat with him on the floor who didn’t seem to budge. "I am watching you for two days. You are not taking calls of your friends. You are not going out. Not even to your university. What happened"? She wrapped her arms around his shoulders.

She saw Daniel contemplating whether to tell or not. But she was waiting for him.

"I... Is it okay to fall for someone"? Daniel said swirling the bottle. His sister turned to him with surprised emotions. Daniel could be jolly, bubbly, spoiled. But he never talked about feelings.

"Depends who is the person. Also, you cannot hold your feelings". His sister said as a matter of fact. Daniel felt silent again.

"Who is she"?

"Uhmmm it’s not a She ". Daniel said sheepishly. His sister was shocked this time. 

"Ehemm... Oh...kayyyy". She gulped the lump. "Sooo. Who is ... He"?

"He is my senior from Business Administration. He is doing PHD". Daniel told. It was a night of shocking surprises for her sister. First Daniel was in love; second, he was in love with a male. And third he was in love with someone elder than him.

"And..."? She wanted him to spill the tea, because so far she couldn’t get a hold on why he was upset. He knew his mother and sister will always love him no matter his sexuality.

"I... It’s complicated ". He hung his head low.

"What is complicated, Danie"? She combed his hair with fingers as he put his head on her shoulder.

"Actually, we are still friends. Like we were. We spent some time together at his apartment. He was playing guitar in the morning and I... I couldn’t hold myself. And I ...."

"You what Daniel"?

"I... Ki... Kissed him without his consent and he ... He slapped me and asked me to leave him apartment. Since then he isn’t talking to me. No calls no texts". He told everything to her. If she was shocked, she didn’t show on her face but she was worried about Daniel.

"Oh Daniel... You shouldn’t have". She said in a sympathetic tone.

"I know. I made a mistake. But what should I do? He isn’t taking my calls. He isn’t coming to his faculty. I visited it too". Daniel was in deep thoughts.

"Give him some space Daniel. He will come around. Don’t worry". She tried to console him. For this was all she could do.

They both fell silent, in deep thoughts.

The whole week had passed. Jack didn’t spent time neither in the cafe nor at his apartment. He would either sit in the library to finish his research and would go home. He was not responding to any of the calls or messages from Daniel. He didn’t want to face him. Not at least now. He was still angry at what he did. He took him as his junior, as a friend. But what Daniel did was not acceptable.

Somehow, somewhere he was missing Daniel. He loved his company. But... He would admit that he liked him. But...

It was Friday. He had finished his work in the library. For two days Daniel had not contacted him. And that was worrisome. He knew Daniel was impulsive. Emotional. What if he... He abruptly stood up. He packed his bag and rushed to the Sports faculty.

He was searching for Daniel when he caught the side of Parker. He had seen him with Daniel while practicing football.

"Uhh. Parker". He patted his shoulder and Parker startled.

"Ohh. Jack. You? Here"? He was thinking fast. Jack being here, only meant Daniel was in trouble.

"Yes. Where is Daniel? I need to see him"? He asked Parker adding to his panic attack.

"Jack, listen. I know what he did was wrong but please don’t blame him. He is already hurting. He is seeking ways to ask forgiveness from you. He didn’t sleep for days. He is crying all the way being sorry and guilty. Please. For...." Parker was blabbering.

"Parker.... I am just asking where Daniel is. I can’t find him. I can’t get his number too. So stop blabbering and trace him out". Jack almost shook Parker to stop blabbering.

"Ohh. Okay okay. I met him last time two days ago. He was crying and he said he will be staying in the church outside the town and will keep asking God to help him asking forgiveness for the mistake he did. And he told he won’t come back until you forgive him". Parker told him. Jack face-palmed himself. He was right. Daniel was really emotional.

"What’s the address"? He asked and ran to his car to go to Daniel.

"Stupid. Fool. Who does this"? Jack smacked the steering wheel of his car speeding up to reach the church.

He reached there and ran inside. The church was empty... He was frantically looking for Daniel when a priest approached him.

"What are you searching for son"?

"Ohh… Father, I am looking for a boy. 22 years old. He is staying here for last two days but I can’t find him anywhere. Please help me". Jack said clasping his hands.

"Ohh. I have seen him by the confession room. He was sitting there since night, asking our Father to help him ask for forgiveness. May be it is related to you. Go he would be there". The father said and Jack ran to the confession room.

The father, or Mason in disguise, smirked with an evil smile. "Let it begin guys". He murmured but he knew Daniel and Wyatt would hear him loud and clear through the Bluetooth device.

"Father". Daniel was sobbing in tears. "Please Father. Help me. I know I made a mistake. I committed a sin. I hurt a pure soul Father. I shouldn't have. I should have asked for him first. It’s just that I felt the love for him in my heart that I never felt before. I couldn’t stop myself Father. But he is angry. He is hurt and he is not talking to me. Please Father, ask God to help me to seek his forgiveness. I will do anything for my love Father. I love him. I will do anything for his forgiveness. But how do I do this when he wouldn’t talk to me."

Jack felt his heart sinking down.  He saw Daniel crying by the window of the Father's confession chamber. He was shocked to hear that Daniel loved him. He had somehow punished Daniel so much. He shouldn’t have ignored his messages. He should have heard to his explanation.

He was a pure soul. He could never bear if someone was hurt because of him. Although he didn’t like what Daniel did, but somehow he was worried about Daniel. Deep down his heart was in pain. And now watching him in tears and sobbing it did hurt him...

"My son, if you love him truly, he would surely come back to you. God helps you that he will forgive your mistake.  But you have to make sure that he loves you too and you won’t impose on him. Do you promise me, Son"? The priest asked.

"Yes Father I promise. I will never impose on him. I truly love him Father I will beg for his forgiveness. I will do anything, no matter whatever I have to do".  Daniel was still crying hard.

"I forgive you Daniel". Daniel snapped his head up looking at a smiling Jack.

"Jackkkk". He stood up touching Jack's face as in assuring himself Jack was really there, and hugged him tightly as soon as he was assured. Also the warm hug from Jack was enough to make him shed happy tears.

"I am sorry Jack. Please forgive me. Please. I realize I made a huge blunder. I couldn’t hold myself but I realize I should have asked for the consent first. I am sorry". Daniel was sobbing on his shoulder.

"Ssshhh. It’s okay Daniel. It’s Okay. I forgive you. I am sorry for being so harsh on you. It’s just that I look at you as a friend and a junior and that kiss was so unexpected. It just caught me off guard. So... I am sorry". Jack was rubbing circles on his back.

"See Son, I told he will forgive you. Your love is surely strong to pull him. God bless you both". The Priest made a cross sign blessing them both and left.

"I... I . Uhhh. I love you ". Daniel said looking into Jack's eyes. Jack was silent and expressionless.

"Daniel"....

"Jack, we are standing in the church. I won’t lie to you here. I know it sounds dramatic but I fell in love with you the first time I saw you. I love to be with you. It’s just because of my overwhelming feelings that I couldn’t help myself that day.

I know it was a mistake. But I would keep on confessing until your realize my love for you". Daniel said cupping his cheeks. Jack could see the sincerity in his eyes.

He wanted to say anything. But his heart was agreeing with Daniel. Why would he lie at this sacred place?

"Daniel. I... I need time to think straight". Jack said honestly.

"I know, like I said. I won’t impose on you. I will wait for you to accept my feelings and return it. But, I want to kiss you. Once to deal the promise that I will never hurt you ever. I promised that I won’t impose on you so I am asking for your permission. Can I"? Daniel said softly.

He leaned into him cupping his cheeks. He saw into his eyes looking for any discomfort, waiting for him to back off but Jack was standing there as Daniel softly ghosted his lips with his plump ones. He was softly moving his lips without intruding his mouth with his tongue. He could feel Jack slightly resolving in his hands.

Daniel pulled off after a while, and laughed as he saw Jack blushing profusely.

"Oh God. You are going to be the death of me". Daniel groaned softly before Jack dragged him out of the church with a slight smile.

They were in the apartment. Daniel kept on apologizing until Jack had to clasp his mouth shut.

"One more SORRY and I will leave you. I told you I forgave you. It wouldn’t have been an issue if i knew about your feelings. But it’s all in the past. So..." Jack held his hands.

"Jack, I actually want to talk about it". Daniel said in serious tone.

"About what"?

"I want to be your boyfriend. I want to tell the whole world that I love you. I want to shout it out. I am scared, someday someone will snatch you away. I want you make sure that you know I belong to you and you belong to me". Daniel said. Jack was shocked, to the core.

"Daniel. It’s too soon for me. I mean. I never had a boyfriend or a girlfriend. With everything that I suffered with my family, I never got a chance to be in any relationship. I never looked at someone to date or to court. It’s not easy for me to trust anyone Daniel. What if i...."

"You don’t need to be scared of me. I don’t want you to go overboard. For dating and courting, let me handle it. I will court you, because I am sure about my feelings about you. And I will make sure that you will feel happy with me. For now I just want the assurance that you agree to be my boyfriend. And we will work on it slowly.

So what do you say? Will you give me the chance"? Daniel asked Jack, making him calm down.

Jack looked at him. He wanted to give it a chance. He wanted to feel how it feels to have a boyfriend. He wanted to experience the time of courting or being courted. Who doesn’t want to be loved?

"Uhmm okay". He said.

"Okay what"?

"I... I agree to be your boyfriend". Jack said and to say Daniel was happy???? Nooooo he was over the moon, jumping around a giggling Jack.

"Oh my god, I am soo happy". Daniel sat beside Jack holding him close.

"I am happy too". Jack said smiling too.

"So ... Since we are boyfriends... Can I kiss my boyfriend now"? He asked and Jack smacked his arm.

"Pervert". He bit his lip.

"Na na na na na na... You are my cute Boyfriend. Pleassssee". Daniel was batting his eyes, pouting a bit and Jack lost it all. 

The next moment he found himself on his back as Daniel hovered him. He kissed his forehead, his cheeks, his eyes and sealed their lips together. It was soft at first but heated up as Daniel licked his lips opening his mouth and Jack was as happy to let him lead the deal.

Their hands were roaming on each other as Daniel was practically fucking his mouth with his tongue. He was sucking his tongue, biting his lips alternately.  He tilted Jack's head, bending fully on him. Jack gasped at the feeling of being owned fully. Daniel felt a shiver of pleasure passing down his body as he felt Jack equally hard under his bulge.

"Mmmmhhh". Jack moaned softly as Daniel attached his lips at the pale neck.

Jack rolled them over and claimed Daniel's plump lips. This time Daniel let him dominate. They were moaning and grunting, grinding their hard-ons together.

Daniel opened his eyes just once and smirked looking at a flustered Jack kissing him deeply… 

"A love stuck fool". His four friends were laughing while watching the LIVE on their mobiles as Daniel had set up a video before kissing Jack.
