Chapter 4. Coming closer.

Jack and Daniel were having their time of life. Daniel had shifted in with Jack after talking to his sister and mother. And it wasn’t that tough to convince them.

While Jack, he was on cloud nine. He had told his sister in law about him and Daniel. She was worried for him first but then she felt happy for him. He never had a chance to spend his life freely. Between the death of his father and brother and taking care of his mother, supporting his siblings and his sister in law, Em, he lost every chance for himself. He never made friends to spend time outside. He never dated anyone. He bound himself in the responsibilities of being a son to his family.

 Em, she saw him glowing with love. He would talk to her on phone and she could only hear his giggles. And she could not tell how she loved it. But inside her heart, she was kind of worried too. Jack was a softie. He would never hurt anyone. He was too good to be hurt. And people took advantage of his soft nature. She had witness people approaching to befriend him for his money and would slap the reality on his face once they get it done.

So far Jack had never mentioned that he bought anything extravagant for Daniel. Just some lunches, some dinners and a few gifts that was okay in her point of view to make your boyfriend happy.

Daniel never let Jack spend money on him. But still every time they would go out, he would have lots of bags in his hands. Daniel would make sure to visit Jack every day in his faculty, to spend lunch with him. And it was a routine they both loved.

Jack was working on his laptop in the cafe. He had no lecture today but he came to accompany Daniel who had one lecture and then they had planned a small date for movie time. He was immersed in his work that he didn’t care about the surroundings. But he was startled badly; it was like his world turned upside down.

He just found himself caged back in a pair of arms. He got his chin raised up backward and his lips were ghosted instantly by a pair of plump lips upside down. Daniel leaned to attach their checks together.

"What was it about"? Jack held his laptop bag collecting all papers.

"Uhmmm I was thinking, how about we postponed the date for tomorrow? Can we go direct to apartment? Let’s pick the food and go". Daniel said out of nowhere as they settled in the car.

Jack was surprised. There was a little change of tone in Daniel's body language.

"Daniel"!!!

"Please ". Daniel said and Jack simply maneuvered the car to their building complex.  

Daniel entered the apartment first followed by Jack who was locking the door behind him but the next moment he was pinned to the door with a hungry Daniel kissing and eating his lips.

"And you say I am cheesy". Jack mumbled under his breath wiping his lips for any more trace of food and all he heard was laughter from Daniel.
